This seaside property is on Hamarøy Island, next to the Vestfjord. It offers rooms and apartments as well as a restaurant with bar and terrace. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The apartments at Tranøy Fyr feature a kitchen, a seating area and a bathroom with shower. Guest rooms have functional décor and shared bathrooms. Narvik, Bodø (airport/ferry) and Evenes (airport) are within 3 hours drive. It is also possible to get a ferry from Bodø to Skutvik (Hamarøy) and we will then arrange a transfer from Skutvik-Tranøy Fyr.

“Brilliant. Probably the most atmospheric and interesting place I have ever stayed!”
The situation is sublime! Walking across the causeway leads you into another world of peace and tranquility. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed Elk and fish dishes which were beautifully prepared. The staff were very friendly and the tour of the lighthouse tour was wonderful. I can highly recommend this experience.

A really lovely place to stay, surrounded by the strength of the nature. The room was spacious and very comfortable and warm. And the view from our window worthed the journey! We tried the restaurant too, and both the service and the dishes were delicious too.

The hosts were very friendly, Althought we booked a room, we were given the Caretaker´s house, very spacious with fantastic views. Stunning sunset at 00h00. The restaurant has fantastic local food. Breakfast was great with homemade jam and fresh products. Amazing place full of mystic and glamour.

Location and ambience are superb. It is a listed building so a rustic setting - but clean and comfortable. Nice little restaurant - all in keeping with the location and friendly staff

staying at Tranøy Fyr is a true experience, and kind of a magic. It worth the trip to get there. The place and the nature around are unique. Additionally... food is good, personnel is nice, the mood is perfect. I'd like to come back one day

Our experience at the lighthouse was fantastic. The location is simply stunning and entering the buildings really feels like travelling back in time. The staff is super friendly and the chef even prepared a delicious vegan meal for us.

The place is beautiful! Amazing! Unbelievable ! The decor has been curated to the slightest detail. The breakfast was great’ as was dinner. This was the prettiest place we stayed in our 5 weeks in Norway.
