“Brilliant Pousada in Trancoso”
The Pousada excelled everywhere. Little things like poetry at breakfast. A welcome gift. Genuine smiles. The Pousada was beautiful. Maintained and spotless. The staff were beautiful and caring. It’s located a short stroll from the historic quadrado. The pool is beautiful and has the most incredible view.

“Amazing House and Hosts!”
An Unforgettable Experience! We absolutely loved everything about Casa Baiana. The beauty of the Pousada, the morning sunrise, the exceptional breakfast, the peaceful Garden and its stunning views, the sunbathing at the Pool, create a truly special place. Just a very short walk to the Quadrado and the beaches, but distant enough to avoid the noise of the evening beach parties! But what made this experience unique was the warmth, care, and genuine connection from the hosts. A special thank you to Lauro, Rafa, Lua, and Alex! You made this more than a stay! Nothing to point out. Everything was simply Perfect. One of our best experiences ever, and the best we’ve had in Bahia. Highly Recommended, with a big SMILE!

“Felt like home”
The amazing staff made us feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent—handmade with fresh, local ingredients. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by lush tropical jungle and offering breathtaking ocean views. The gardens and the house’s decor are beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. “Big surprise”
Brilliant views from hotel to sea, very much in nature at this hotel...the pool is great everything immaculately maintained, extremely tasty and fresh breakfast, location is excellent to heart of Trancoso, all staff welcoming, friendly and helpful, I would recommend to everyone. Only small thing is noise from breakfast up to bedroom in the main house, but it wouldn't stop me from staying again. In fact I'd recommend the room as you have access to the roof top for star gazing and hammock that is perfectly positioned to enjoy the view. Go here for excellent value.

“Great pousada, lovely quiet location, excellent service and food and kind and attentive staff”
A delicious fresh breakfast was served every morning - the staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful and hardworking. The pousada is away from the main centre about a 5 min walk in a quiet neighbourhood of other pousadas. There is a large pool and views to the forest and sea beyond and occasional monkeys jumping around! The place was just lovely and we would like to return the next time we get to travel to Trancoso.

“Great Pousada !!!”
We had a great stay at this Pousada. The staff spoke English, were super friendly and the breakfast generous and delicious. The location is so close to the old town centre, but also very quiet with a nice view. We definitely will stay here again.
