Accommodation owners very rude, I was not able to contact them after 9pm, and they wouldn’t reply my message in the morning. Neighbours, clients were young people who appeared to be drunk. Glasses were smashed, also the music was loud until 3-4am. Quiet time apparently should be from 10pm, this was sent in written form through email. In the morning staff or maybe the owner himself came for checking us out. When he was asked by me why no one reacted my message shortly after 9pm, regarding loud customers next door, his reply was “ Why we didn’t knock their door for complain”. I explained that those were drunk or maybe even addicted young people who argued in Russian language. I explained him of being aware about the problems I could get into if I would knock, I told this wasn’t my responsibility to deal with their clients, but theirs. He asked me straight after “oh are you afraid of Russians? We are a couple having 40+ years of age and apparently we shoul deal with them ourselves. Seriously?! We had a kettle, but no cups or glasses etc. TV wouldn't turn on and no manuals available. Apart of nice building and its surrounding this is a horrible place to stay overnight if you renting to rest after long day. I never experienced as rude owners, what’s not enough we had to leave it through the window due to door lock not unlocking.At the same time we were rushed to climb and leave a little faster while being told that we can do whatever we want, complain or whatever, they wouldn’t care. This place should be checked more often and also money laundering questioned. As no card payment were accepted or anything giving for signing, cash taken straight away and no apology. Avoid this place, it looks like it is rented for young local people to have fun with young women, probably known by owners. Clients were passing from room to room what tells me this was one company of young people, who enjoy youth using💵💵💵❗️❗️Controls and checks needed from governmental institutions❗️❗️

“A lovely place to stay a bit outside town”

This is a great place to stay. It's a bit away from the town centre but only ten minutes walk from the bus station. It's very peaceful. There's a nice garden with lots of chairs for sitting also BBQ area. Lady is very friendly but uses Google Translate for communication. Room was very clean and comfortable. Useful to have a fridge and kettle in the room and small kitchen nearby. Bed was comfortable and good hot shower. It takes about 30 minutes if you walk quite quickly to get to the island castle.

It is a real fine place, but CASH was the only way to pay which was a problem when we book through booking and my Canadian credit card and not with extra cash for such demands/expectations which are found in small print and not as clear as all other important details of a booking. Also difficult to come to terms where the owners do not know English, and automatic cell translation is the only other option.

Be careful, when you will arrive you did not get apartments what was agreed, of course if you get it at all. The owner of the homestead is a very unpleasant and inhospitable woman. We do not recommend this homestead.

Quiet place in garden. Close to shop and restaurant. Lady welcomed us is very kind and helpful.

Cosy place close to the lakes with a lovely garden to chill. Nice restaurant near by and large supermarket for all your needs. Would stay again.

Clean spacious rooms, neat hotel area and good location. Restaurant with local food within 10 minutes walk.

Not the best start - owners don't speak English and then demanded payment in cash. Room was a good size and clean. Bathroom was functional. Would have preferred better bedding. Good location to visit Trakai Castle.
