“Historic guest house in Kinosaki Onsen”
Lovely historic house with beautifully curated furniture etc. Good shared facilities (kitchen, lounge room), huge bedroom and lovely little garden outside. Yukatas, shoes and bag loaned as in the (much more expensive) ryokans in town, so you can get dressed up to stroll around town and to the onsens. Friendly staff. I loved the women- only atmosphere.

“Japanese hospitality at its finest”
I loved everything about this place - the moment you enter through the gate, a lush green garden greets you and you’re already calm. After the host greets you for check-in, the house rules are explained. The place is spotlessly clean and it’s very traditional. Being woman only makes one very comfortable as well. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a calm and traditional stay in Kinosakionsen. My stay here was a highlight of my Japan trip - it felt like staying with your Japanese sisters in their home. Thank you for everything.

The staff were exceptional, and provided great information about the area and cultural customs. The property was walking distance to everything in town but a little secluded from the main streets, making it the perfect location.

“Perfect Place for Onsen Town Experience!”
Location was perfect! Just 2 blocks down a road between 2 of then main onsens. Perfect traditional style house with tatami, futon, and sliding doors. Honestly I had really long and deep sleeps while staying. They lent me a yukata, sandals, and even a basket to carry my things. They gave me a map and showed me a website so I could check the availability of the baths too.

“It was very pleasant and relaxing”
It was amazing, both sisters are just the friendliest!! We got our own yukata to walk around kinosaki. All the onsen were easily accessible by foot. The guesthouse had this charming vibe and was very cozy. Me and my friends loved it, would visit again!:)

“Amazing experience in a traditional Japanese House”
This was really the best part of my trip. I loved this traditional house and the owner is lovely, kind and helps a lot with information about the town and what to do. It’s a traditional house and perfect for someone that wants to experience traditional Japanese culture. I had a room all for myself, slept in a tatami and was provided with yukata, shoes and even towels for onsen. Everything was sparkling clean, the owner helped me with my luggage, even though it was cold outside, I was never cold inside as there is heating in the room. The shared spaces were also lovely and kept clean and tidy all the time. The place was very quiet and everyone was very respectful. It is only 8 minutes walking distance from the train station and everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended and I hope I can come back again!!
