“Enjoyable stay”

Location is convenient to Tateyama Station for the cable car ride to tateyama kurobe alpine route. Room is spacious. Onsen is excellent with different onsen pools. Dinner and breakfast are great. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely Japanese experience staying here. The outside onsen was nice and hot. The set menu for dinner... we had to eat in house as there was nothing nearby, was outstanding with superb service and many small plates. The room was nice and big with the tatami mat area.

1. The room exceeds my expectation. The one i had booked is chalet type with private onsen bath tub. 2. Breakfast and Dinner served was exceĺent. 3. The staff is very helpful and kind. Especially the staff at the restaurant.

The bathroom was a little smelly.

The meals provided were excellent, also like an omakase standard. The room was spacious with its own attached onsen and bath. It was just a great stay. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

The Japanese breakfast and dinner are amazing. The staffs were helpful, the hotel is clean, the onsen is large with different pool options. Shuttle service to the Tateyama station is a plus.

The staff are very helpful and recommend the place and the weather we travel. They help us translate the website information from Japanese to English to buy the cable car tickets. Also, there is free shuttle bus service transit from the hotel to Toyama station.

Great outdoor onsen with a good view of the mountains . Great experience for a Westerner traveller, very friendly staff. Great food. Useful shuttle and very close to Tateyama Station.

The staff was super nice. Although some of them were not good in English they made huge efforts to communicate and all was for the best including some nice expirience ;-). The dinner was impressive!!

“A peaceful hotel in the mountains with excellent food and a superior onsen”

A spacious and peaceful place nestled in a mountain village, 3km up a winding road from Tateyama Railway Station and the start of the Tateyama Kurobe Transalpine Route. The hotel has a shuttle service to take you to and from the station. It was old-fashioned in some ways, but that added to the charm, especially in the onsen which was one of the best I have experienced in Japan. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and welcoming.

Breakfast and dinner are nice. We arrived late and the hotel managed to pick us from the station.

It is an old hotel so with realistic expectations it is actually very good. Room was big, front desk was helpful, onsen was decent and finally the food was better than lots of Ryokan that we have stayed in.
