Beautiful villa surrounded by bushland. Large garden with a wide and suggestive swimming pool facing the house. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. Good breakfast. The host is very attentive and happy to give advice.

Lionel’s place is situated in the French countryside and a perfect location to relax and escape. The breakfast was exceptional and Lionel was keen to accommodate any need we had.

“Lovely rooms, but not the private, quiet experience we were hoping for”
The rooms were beautiful and very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well designed. Breakfast was delicious and served at a time which suited us.

“Green, serene and perfect for a quiet getaway.”
If you have a job that involves lots of human interaction or work in an environment which is particularly loud and you would like some peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Lionel's place is a great place to disconnect and do some thinking and reading. The electric bikes are great but note that there is a (sensible) 8:30pm curfew to avoid traveling on narrow and windy roads in the dark. Helpfully the bikes have baskets (for all of your wine and cheese essentials!). The small and beautiful village of Tourette Sur Loup is 10 minutes by bike and Vence is 15 minutes by bike. Perfect places to visit for lunch/dinner. Most guests hire a car but we prefer to avoid it if possible; the electric bikes made this possible. If there is another couple at the property at the same time with the same desire to use the bikes then you will need to compromise. Breakfast was a treat each morning and Lionel gave us some useful tips too. Lionel is a friendly, low-profile host and it was a pleasure to stay at his abode.

“Perfect for couple looking for a calm relaxing stay”
The property was exactly what we were expecting, very calm and relaxing. The pool is fantastic and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for daytime snacks and drinks - made it easy to stay by the pool all day! The breakfast is great and Lionel couldn’t do enough for us!
