This intimate hotel in the center of Tournai combines modern facilities with original features in two historic buildings over 200 years old. Grand Place is 250 metres away from d'Alcantara. The hotel's geographical location, situated in the city center of an historic Middle ages city with cobbleston-streets, is a great way to get around on foot during your stay. The oldest belfry of Belgium is just over a 5-minute walk away. The Museum of Fine Arts is a 10-minute walk from d'Alcantara Hôtel. Lille is 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Reception schedule : Monday to Friday from 7am to 10pm Saturday from 8am to 10pm Sunday from 8am to 8.30pm Breakfast schedule : Monday to Friday from 7am to 10am Weekends from 8am to 11am The breakfast is included in the price. We offer a continental buffet with viennoiserie, unlimited hot drinks, freshly squeezed orange juice, home-made pastries, cold meats and cheese, yoghurts, fruit salad, etc. A parking solution is available for every budget: - The Q-Park "Fort Rouge" secure underground car park located 100m from the hotel (€10/24h charge) - The Maison de la Culture car park, 7 minutes' walk away, is completely free and easy to access.

“Nice location, good breakfast, but didn't get the room we had booked”
The location of the hotel was convenient to explore Tournai and a good breakfast was provided. The design of the hotel is very stylish. The room we eventually got was okay, but not what we booked.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, right in the centre. Breakfast very good. Staff were helpful - for example we needed a taxi and they got one for us quite quickly. Overall a good place to stay.

“Funky, comfortable hotel in great location”
Central location, with stunning view of bell tower and pretty courtyard from our room ('Monet'), into which we were kindly allowed to check in an hour early due to rain. Complimentary teas and coffee, plus croissants and biscuits (left over from breakfast) rather than hospitality trays on our room - the hotel has great eco-credentials. Unusual retro style (brown 1950s/60's wood) with black and white film stills on the walls. Good breakfast included in room rate - fresh orange juice and homemade tray bakes stood out. Large fluffy towels.

The staff were really friendly and helpful ,gave us a guided tour ,of the hotel ,we were on the ground floor in a room called tango ,a lot of the rooms were called after dances the room was huge and had a sofa and a desk etc .You could help yourself to free tea and coffee .It was near the old city town centre .Breakfast was lovely lots of variety and choice ,nice court yard to sit in outside

“Nice hotel in a nice town”
Great hotel with really warm and friendly staff. However, I’m not quite sure how I ended up in the 'apartment' after booking (and paying for) a deluxe double!
