Very communicative owners, clear instructions for everything. Flat was lovely and very well-equipped and clean. The breakfast pastries were lovely. We would have happily stayed here more than one night and would definitely use again if we were to return to Tournai.

I don't give top score easily for an accommodation, but here the apartment, the convenient location, Tournai itself, the friendly hosts, the home-delivered breakfast, the price-value ratio were all spot on.

The place is fairly clean and at a very central location. downstairs is the high street which you can access easily. the breakfast voucher can trade from a very nice bakery and its delicious

The hosts were very accommodating. My son was travelling from Denmark to the UK by train and had been delayed. The hosts were really understanding and gave great entry instructions. My son said the apartment was very comfortable and clean. He had a choice of having pastries delivered or collecting them from the local bakery, he chose to collect them from the bakery as he had an early start. He said the pastries (croissants and pain au chocolates) were really nice. This apartment is close to the station and great location to explore the very picturesque town of Tournai. Also - excellent value for money!

“Perfectly located and well appointed apartment with parking close to everything”

So handy to food and centre of town with bar, carrefours supermarket and wonderful pastry shop only a few metres away and cheap parking right at the foot of the apartment. Scheldt River only a few metres away and we get a glorious view of the notre dame right outside our front door on Rue Royale. Apartment was well furnished and came with breakfast vouchers to get morning pastries or have them delivered which is a lovely touch (that said, I preferred to walk so did not opt for the delivery service). Hosts communicated very clearly, including having an information booklet so check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend this Gite.

“Excellent modern apartment in a very interesting city”

The location was close to the centre of the town, but the other side of the canal with a rising road bridge. Very entertaining to look at the barges going past. Apartment was modern and extremely clean, hot shower, comfortable bed, good lighting and large windows. The kitchen was well provided with equipment plus coffee/juice/milk/butter etc. Free Breakfast vouchers for an excellent bakery a few yards away, plus there is a local Carrefour. The road was quiet and local bars/restaurants were cheaper this side of the canal. We were able to park outside the apt, paying by the machine (from 9.00 -17.00 first 30 mins FOC - but get a ticket, then €3/3 hrs, no charge over lunch, pay again in the afternoon). Make sure to note the expiry time as there is a €25 fine which has to be paid by IBAN if UK, we paid the lovely owner in cash and it was paid for us. It was a short walk to the centre of the old town, and the cathedral could been seen from the front door.

The location is great, the accommodation is perfect, and the price is good. Cedric ans Stéphanie realise that breakfast is appreciated by their guests even in an apartment.

We stayed in tournai for 3 nights. the accommodation was very nice, clean and in the city center. the host brought us fresh breakfast every morning. We felt great at the apartment and had a relaxing and warm stay. communication with the host was fast and we felt welcomed. We higly recomand ☺️

We loved EVERYTHING about this apartment! Our hosts were so lovely and helpful, from detailed check-in instructions to breakfast delivered in the morning. The apartment was safe, lovely, clean, and well appointed with everything we needed for several days in Tournai. The apartment is an easy walk from the train station, with a good connection to Lille. The neighborhood is FANTASTIC, with beautiful buildings, lovely restaurants, and convenient supermarkets. And to top it off, the price was excellent. We would 100% return to this apartment the next time we are in Tournai!

So close to all the Tournai sites. A beautiful place, nice and clean. Fluffy towels and lots of information leaflets about Tournai in multiple languages. I also liked that the welcome book explained how everything worked in different languages so it was easy to ensure everything was as we wanted. I highly rate this place to stop in Tournai. We would definitely stop here again! Drinks provided for arrival and my children loved using the coffee pods with the nesquik hot chocolate pods provided. We chose to have pastries from patisserie Vivienne for breakfast (it opens at about 4 or 5am but we went at about 8am) which were obtained using the vouchers. The patisserie was amazing and the selection provided with the vouchers was more than enough and so tasty. A real treat to visit a truly lovely bakery. We also bought some extras at the bakery too as it was so good. The salt and pepper baguette was yummy. Stephanie and Cedric were really great hosts and I received timely messages from them about how to get into the gite and about parking. A great place!
