Maria welcomed us at the door with a warm smile and greeting. We had asked for an early check in as we were meeting a friend who was staying locally and she gave us clear information and directions on how to find her house and entry to the car park area. She showed us to our room which was immaculate and very nicely presented. She showed us the facilities and explained the keys for the doors and street gate. Maria was very concerned to ensurexwe had everything we needed for our stay and went out specially to get a bottle of fresh milk for our morning cuppa. She waved us goodbye and gave us a lovely flower arrangement in a pretty pottery mug as a memento of our visit. Highly recommended.

Everything. Beautiful room, excellent parking & location, totally delightful, charming & professional hosts, delightful garden & excellent amenities. In the centre of Toul with shops & restaurants nearby. Highly recommend, would love to stay again.

A very beautiful property with a lovely clean,well appointed bedroom separate wc and bathroom. Owner advised an excellent French restaurant for us to eat the evening we arrived - le p’tit bois.

“Only place worth staying in Toul”

Unless you're into church history there's not much to see in Toul except the immense cathedral, completely out of proportion for a town with 16,000 residents. The town center needs major revovation work and the dining scene is sad. However, if you spend the night, Maria's chambre d'hote is the best place intown. Immaculate, spacious and very central. No breakfast but Patisserie Schmitt around the corner will get uou sorted out.

We had a fabulous 1 night stay on route to Switzerland. The room was lovely and full of character, it opened onto a beatiful garden which had the weather been better we could have sat in. The owners were lovely very kind and helpful. It was a lovely house right in the centre of the town with parking. A great find.
