“Probably a nice place to stay when having booked a private accommodation a bit in advance”
The location is a 5 min walk to the beach of the lake which was super convenient after a day of hiking. The dog was really cute and a joint breakfast will all other guests in the yurt was a nice touch

“Much better than that we expected”
There were very few options with a private bathroom availablle in this village and in the end we took this one. It turned out to be much better than we expected. It is advertised as an house but it is actually more like a big room with some extra facilities and an independed entrance which is exactly what we wanted. So if you expect a house with full kitchen equipment to cook your own food inside your own house you might be disappointed although I saw some facilities in the communual area but if you don't need this and just look for a good room with a private bathroom and some extras like a fridge and water cooker than this is defenitely the place to book and it is very near the beach. Munara was very helpful with organazing transport to Fairy tale Canyon (an absolute must visit which is about 10 km away from the village) and gave a lot of general information. She was really concerned to make sure that everything was ok with us. I certainly recommend this place for a stay in this village

“Not good. Perhaps their Tunuk guest house as originally booked is an 8/10 but the alternative?”
It was warm and the mattress (on the floor) was comfortable at least.

“A comfortable, well-proportioned apartment perfect for small groups. Lovely hosts.”
This was a nicely proportioned and comfortable apartment in an excellent location with access to Issyk-Kul. The hosts were super responsive and communication was easy. They were also very helpful when we ran into some minor issues and sorted them out right away.
