He is very responsive. The apartment was fitted with everything I needed and more. Very clean. Convenient location. Easy parking. I hope to stay here again someday!

Perfect apartment near the city with all the commodities. The host Alvur is there to help and very kind. He was open to extend our reservation one more night as our departing flight was cancelled. I strongly recommend this place as your stay in the Faroe Islands.

The apartment felt spacious, was clean, and had modern and functional facilities. It lacked nothing. But what makes this accomodation stand out is the generous, considerate spirit of the host. He had prepared a guidebook with very helpful information, complimentary provisions awaited us at arrival, and he was always ready to help us out in any matter – also after we departed for other destinations at the Faroe Island.s Álvur really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. This is one of the best stay we have ever had. The owner is extremely helpful and warm. All the details such as map, attractions, and even candies were well arranged. The apartment is very clean and well maintained, the bed is very comfortable even for me are quite picky on the beddings and bed. The host is also very responsive… It was a fantastic experience and we would recommend to anyone…

Everything about the stay was near perfect. What made the stay a 10/10 was the exceptional host, Álvur. He goes beyond his way to help us in all ways possible. The apartment was so cosy and had such a well equipped kitchen. Location was also great, just a few mins drive and you'll be at the heart of Torshavn. I highly recommend staying at this place.

“PERFECT HOUSE and PERFECT HOST”

The apartment is amazing and the host is the added value of all the staying. The apartment is located in Thorshavn-Argir, useful area because with a parking, close to supermarkets, hospital and all the services, with nice view on the harbour (special light in the sunsets!). Two nice bedrooms, one living-dining-room with sofa, table and big tv, already with access to all the platforms (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.), one kitchen and one bathroom. Mr. Alvur is the owner of the apartment: he lives close to it with its family and it is available for EVERY possible need and for every suggestion. Extremely kind and polite, but never intusive, he could address you to the best things of the Faroe, if you'd like to. Much more than a simple host, but a big reference point of for all the experience at the Faroe. Really great staying: thank you, Alvur!

the host Alvur is very nice, even prepared some snacks and drinks for us upon arrival, and he is always there when you need help. the apartment is well equipped, and its exceptionally clean! Im a person who has a very high standard of cleaning who usually would have to clean some area by myself in hotel rooms/ other apartments, Im surprised that even the bed linens you couldnt find a single hair/ dust, and of cos its so comfy! I wish I could give more than 10 scores, and if I could come back one day, I would bring your favourite homemade chilli sauce to you from my hometown🥰

I like everything in here, the host was extremely helpful and friendly, he provided us all the attractions and hiking routes recommendations, even helped us to book the local tours. We are grateful for having him as our host. The room itself was extremely neat and tidy, every little details you can see the host actually put his cares into it. TV channels were more than plenty, including Prime vid and Netflix built-in (no need to log in yourself). Also, the bed and sofa were comfy to sleep instantly. And the location was only 5 mins max drives from city centre, hence very convenient and 30 secs walk from the free parking lot. overall, judging by the price and everything we had received from this property, this is no doubt the top accommodation for us. We wished we could stay few more nights over here.

The property was perfect for what I needed for a short stay. It was near to public transport services, especially the free bus services. handy for tourism purposes and close to amenities. I was very impressed at what I booked and used and the host was very sociable and also appreciative of my use of his property. I cannot praise enough the facilities and services that were provided and can only thank the host, Alvur, for providing me with such an ideal property to use. I look forward to my next visit with the family.

well organised house layout. good for a family with 2 kids even. Good living and dining room and TV channels and kitchen items such that if you intend to cook, you don’t need get anything (incl oil salt pepper and baking paper) except your raw ingredients. there’s even laundry and a freezer tank!

Everything was perfect. The apartment is beautiful and has all you can need. Álvur is a great host. He left some groceries and drinks in the apartment and he also spent time with us giving information about the islands and the history of the Faroese people. Absolutely recommended!

Alvur, is a great guy and one of the best hosts I've stayed with. Easy to communicate with either by phone or at the property. Had orange juice and apple juice in the fridge with some snacks. Plug in adapters pretty much anything you needed. Including a free washer and dryer that was nice to be able to use with free soap for the washer. Great stay and I'll be back to stay with him. Highly recommend a stay here.
