“Cosy stay in Torshavn”
Marna is a great host, we were warmly welcomed by her. The guess house is clean and the common areas are perfect to meet and share a meal or a drink with fellow travellers. The host was very attentive and friendly towards everyone.

“expectations not met by a long shot”
We have booked a double room with private bathroom - there is no such thing! Apparently, there is a problem with changing the description on booking, but I think it is just a scam and all good ratings fake. The bedrooms are tiny and the two bathrooms are shared with the other 5 doublerooms. The wifi was there, but wasn't charged, not sure if it worked at all. Before we arrived we received a code to get the key - it was the wrong code, we were locked out of the house, could not reach the host. Luckily, other guests arrived who had the correct door code and let us in. We complained and got to move to one of the apartments (one bedroom, bathroom & kitchen), which is located in the same house. However, there was no wifi there; a heavy smoker must have lived there, because everything smelled of cold smoke. Towels both in the double room and in the apartment smelled - they are in need of a hot wash. The bathroom rugs seemed very dirty/ old. In the apartment you don't get any soap or shower gel - bring your own. You can reserve a parking spot, however, it is not reserved for you - it is first come, first served, even though it is advocated differently.

Very clean and well organized. Free parking nearby, the only problem was the booking.com who specified the room as one with a private bathroom - which is not true, the bathrooms are shared. The host is very reactive and solves any problems quickly. Check-in was very easy and quick.
