Great wee apartment. Very clean and comfortable and the owner is very nice and friendly. The location is good, with regular buses into town or you can walk in 20 to 30 minutes.

We stayed at the Cosy Apartment for 8 days during our visit to the Faroe Islands. The location is great if you have a car—set in a quiet neighborhood just outside Tórshavn, yet still very well connected to the city. The apartment itself is comfortable and practical. The kitchen is well equipped with high-quality cookware, making it easy to prepare meals at home. The two bedrooms are cozy and perfectly sufficient for a family of three. The laundry room is located in the semi-basement outside the apartment, but it’s very accessible and convenient to use. Our host was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the islands, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

“Nice apartment with wonderful host”

First of all host is very kind and helpful. You will get answers for anything in a few minutes. The apartment is very clean. The bed was not unconfortably soft like in other places. You will always find place for your car in the parking lot near the house.

I have never seen such a perfectly prepared apartment as this one. Everything was absolutely perfect. The owner was very friendly and helpful, provided us many tips for trips and was ready to help with anything.

“Home away from Home”

The host was wonderful and also very thoughtful. He’s prepared a guide book, and makes sure that everything is taken care of. The snacks provided were an added bonus. The apartment was cosy and comfortable for 3 people. I would have given a 11 out of 10 rating, if I could.

Location short walk (20mins) or drive from town centre. Quiet neighbourhood. Flat located next Alvurs office so he was on hand to answer any questions and very helpful and responsive by email or text. Left an excellent pack of information and suggestions of places to go. Also lovely range of snacks and coffees/tea etc to get you started. Property very clean and well presented. Bedrooms small but living room plenty of room with dining table too.

“Very Nice Experience in My First Stay in Faroe.”

The apartment is very clean, complete and comfortable. The host Mr. Alvur is very kind and friendly person. When I first came into the house, I can see a welcome note from him and some chocolates and snack. We felt touched and very much welcome. Mr. Alvur also share a lot of informations about Faroe Island and he's willing to share many info about anything in Faroe. The room not so big, but for us it was good enough and the main living hall have a lot of space. The TV set is complete. One more think what I like, he provide the hub for gadget charging. It suits for any type of gadget at the living hall and he even provide an ipad for us to use. At the yard, there are some plants that we were allowed to pick it up such mint leaves and there are also some flowers that we can use to cook, it taste like an onion leaf. There was also a washing machine and dryer for us at basement. Complete amenities. I hope to come again in Faroe and to be able to meet him again some day in the future. I wish he will be always in good condition and god bless him.

A nice 2-bedroom flat, at a walking distance from the center of Torshavn. The owner, Àlvur, is very welcoming and helpful; the guide-book at our disposal in the flat was very clear and detailed with a lot of useful information. The flat is comfortable, well equipped and washing machine/ dryer are easily accessible and free to use. Overall a very good choice for a stay in Torshavn. Parking the car was very easy at a few meters from the flat.
