“Excellent place for a stay”
We were on our way to Sälen and needed a stop. We were met by a very kind and professional staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and we had a nice view of a lake nearby. In the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We had to leave before the serving of breakfast. Then the staff made some sandwiches to us for the early morning travel.

Beautiful rural setting with a lake where you can swim. It was peaceful and relaxing. Dinner and breakfast was good and the staff were lovely.

The hotel is open, friendly, comfy and in a beautiful location. Best thing was to have a little picknick by the lake. Staff is very friendly too.

“A perfect place to spend a relaxing overnight stay when travelling the Swedish hinterland.”
Very nice location with good trails for a scenic walk before dinner and after breakfast. Delicious dinner in a very comfortable setting at the fireplace, excellent service. The same goes for breakfast. Expedient and pleasant check in/out.

Very nice place to stay with a great atmosphere. The area is lovely, with a nice souvenir shop. And we didn't expect that dinner in a restaurant would be so delicious!

“Very nice and peaceful place to stay, with an artistic touch!”
The Sahlström farm (Sahlströmsgården) is a place with an artistic backdrop, it is the place where 3 sibling artists grew up (Anna, Ida and Bror Sahlström) in the early 1900s. The barn is converted to a cozy restaurant and the hotel part is newly erected building but in traditional style. When I was there there, a painting course was ongoing and there is a gallery and plenty of art work. It is surrounded by cultivated fields and it overlooks a small lake where you can also swim.
