“Comfortable with amazing views but very smelly athroom”

Amazing view of the mountains and really good common kitchen for cooking. The sitting area was nice. Very good breakfast. They set everything out early so we had an early start for Torres del Paine.

“A great place to stay to explore what is a wonder of the world”

The Refugio is perfectly located just outside the national park making it about a 40 minute drive to the main attractions. Remember this is a Refugio, not a 5 star hotel like its neighbours, so things are rustic and simple. It has a homely feel and we met plenty of other guests who were great to exchange travel tips with. Although the roads are rough the scenery is majestic. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of blankets and the common room has a log fire which kept the place warm. The breakfast was great with cooked eggs, toast, cake etc. We were allowed to check in early which was appreciated and the staff were friendly and gave tips on places to see.

The selling point on this property is the view! The view, the view! Absolutely beautiful. The building itself and shared areas are nicely furnished and welcoming. We actually spent two days at the house just chilling and didn’t go out. It is beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed and clean and the private bathrooms were good with nice pressure shower and clean and tidy. We enjoyed being in a rural environment on a working farm.

“Best place to stay in Torres del paine area”

Best spot to stay in tores del paines area. That wiev from your room is amazing. Perfect place, comfy and clean

The photos don’t do this place justice! Location is perfect for day hikes and to avoid going back to Natales every day. The surroundings are unique and beautiful and peaceful and the facilities are amazing! The guys running it are so nice and helpful. Returning to a warm fire each day was heaven.

Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and the staff was really friendly and helpful as well! They even gave us some pasta sauce and canned tuna because we ran out of groceries. The living room is super comfy and cozy. We had electricity 24/7 throughout out stay, even though it was stated prior that this might not be the case.

I liked the location and cleanliness. The view out of most of your windows is great. You can see the mountains and horses running around. It's Refugio but most of the units have their own bathrooms. It is just 5 mins outside of the park . But to get to base Torres you will still need to drive on gravel unpaved road for 90 mins.

“Restful Refugio”

Wonderful stay in a great location for exploring the national park. There were stunning views of the mountains from the communal area and our room. Room and bathroom were really well equipped and both were clearly newly renovated and well decorated with comfortable bedding and a great shower with lots of hot water. Kitchen was also really well equipped with all we needed for cooking our own meals. The breakfast provided was very good as well. Adrian was superb and made the stay all the better by always being on hand to keep the fire going, provide a great breakfast and see to all our, and the other guests needs. We cannot compliment him enough. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area again.

Loved the views en simplicity of the place. Lovely public first floor with shared kitchen and cosy wooden fireplace. Bring your own food and cook your own meal. In the morning a rich breakfast. From the Rifugio you have hikes within a half hour drive ( Grey Lake and the glacier (Boat to the gkacier was fantastic). Hike to Cuernos de Paine id must anf aldo hal hour drive. For the most scenic hike to Bas de Torres you will leave early because 1.5 hours drive to starting point. But worthwile and very demanding! Took us about 7 hours with 2 brakes.

The location is just perfect. We had a view on the Torres. The breakfast was super, made by a French lady. Of course, it is not cheap because of its location.

Location is obviously amazing, you are viewing the whole Torres del Paine from your bedroom window. Breakfast was very nice. There are options for food in the hotels around Rio Serrano so you don't have to only stay here for food.

Location is beyond amazing, and atmosphere in the refugio is lovely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the view from our window was incredible.
