Overview
These modern apartments are located in the Mar Menor Golf Course in Murcia. There is a communal swimming pool and each apartment has a terrace and a washing machine. “Largely very good but can't overlook being let down by fundamental issues within the apartment.”
This is my 4th visit over Christmas and it has all I need to enjoy my time. This year I met with a very friendly and helpful male person on reception and picking up my keys took just a matter of minutes. So different from past experiences. This is purely down to personnel on duty, but should be same, no matter who is on reception.

“Bad apartment ESCALERA 29, GROUND FLOOR,DOOR 3”
Nice resort somewhere in the nowhere. Nice girl in the hotel's reception. When we moved in the apartment it was very cold in it. : +14 degrees and we couldn't swirch on the heat. She sent a technical worker to solve the problem.

“From bad to good”
I’ll start by saying when we first walked in the apartment was awful despite there being such a grand entrance. Marks on every wall and floor, rusty washing machine, pictures not matching in person. Sofa ripped,Stains on lampshade and mould in toilet, toilet seat loose.. I could go on. Had to even show reception photos I took as they didn’t seem convinced on what I was saying. HOWEVER - they then offered to give us another apartment. Walked in and it was much better, fresh and comfortable. Such a shame about the first apartment I think we were incredibly unlucky. Overall a good stay, maybe worth thinking that it is a golf resort really and you are within a complex with nothing walking distance outside of it. Only shop onsite is a Spar which is on the expensive side. We were there for 2 nights and that was enough for us.

“Nice stay, would consider staying again.”
The area was well maintained. The pool was clean but COULD have been cleaner in my opinion. We stayed here for two nights having already spent two weeks in another location in Spain. The property was spacious. We could use the restaurants in the neighbouring hotel. The complex felt safe and generally clean. The beds were firm but comfy enough. The view from our property (overlooking the pool) was really nice!
