Set in a panoramic position on the shores of Lake Massaciuccoli, LIù B&B offers pastel-coloured rooms with a garden view and free Wi-Fi. Villa Puccini Is just 70 metres away on foot. It was perfect location for us, as we had tickets of Puccini's Manon Lescaut at Grand Teatro Puccini and planed to visit Villa Puccini. Liu B&B was next to the villa and about 4 minites walk to the theater. So it was very convinient for us. Staff was very helpfull and fruendly

“Wonderful”
The place absolutely spotless and was perfectly situated for the opera theatre - and as a solo female traveller I felt safe there, especially walking home in the early hours of the morning after the show. It’s also right next door to the Puccini house and museum! .The lovely hosts even collected and dropped me off at the local train station. There was a problem on arrival with the WiFi but the staff went above and beyond to rectify. Breakfast was fabulous! The best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Having a lovely quiet garden to sit out in was an added bonus. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially the wonderful young Alice who cleaned the rooms, brought breakfast, fixed the WiFi and brought me lots of yummy coffee - all with a smile!

An exceptional place in an exceptional location. …very relaxing. It was a 2 minute walk from the opera. The hosts were amazing and if we needed anything they were there to help straight away. We didn’t have a car and relied on public transport. Public transport was easy, efficient and super cheap. The location was perfect for exploring Pisa..you could jump on a bus either the 29 or 31 that was 2 minutes away from the B& B that took you close to the Torre del lago train station. From here you could catch a train into the centre of Pisa..in 20 minutes! I am looking forward to a return visit.

“Very comfortable for a short trip.”
The location was beautiful and practical for going to the opera festival and visiting the Puccini Villa which were really just around the corner.

“Cosy room next to Puccini's villa”
Clean, cosy room, the host came to greet us and was more than friendly. Although the B&B is in a limited access walking zone, its very easy to find night parking places at about 150 m (after exiting the walking zone turn right). Wonderful seeshore inviting to a little walking, the sea beaches are at about a 15 min drive. Compared to the nearby overnight possibilities very good price. Puccinis villa (15 m from the B&B) is a must-see.

“It was a well-located place with very friendly staff and clean simple rooms”
The location was perfect overlooking the lake. There were four restaurants in walking distance. There was a cafe/bar within 5 minutes. We walked up to the main road to catch the bus to Lucca. The walk took 20 minutes. We bought bus tickets at the Tabac. The train station was a further five minutes. Trains to Pisa Centrale only 15 mins. From PC you can get the people mover to the airport. We also had a day trip to Florence.

great location. very nice breakfast. easy check in and check out. comfortable bed. great to have aircon in the room as temperature outside 42 degrees centigrade.

“beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms- more practical if you’ve hired a car”
really lovely and clean, right in front of a beautiful lake. you are pretty remote so be prepared to either walk or get public transport
