The views were amazing and the garden area lovely for sitting and watching the sunset. Unusual and interesting building made up from several very old village dwellings. Very quirky.

“Relaxing heaven”

Everything. The couple who own the property, are so friendly and hard working to make your stay perfect. The pool area is hard to get to, if you have any difficulty in walking, but once there it is such a tranquil and natural area, you cannot help but relax. The food is perfect and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Beautifully restored castle with excellent pool and outside sun bathing areas. Well appointed rooms, sympathetically restored. A very welcoming and helpful host who produced excellent locally-sourced food. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return.

Outstanding experience. Anything in writing will be an understatement of the quality of service provided by the owners of this amazing place. The setting is beautiful, the food prepared by the hosts is very very good. The building is newly renovated keeping the historic structure. If you have time you must enjoy the spa during your stay. We will be back this year for sure.

This fascinating property had been lovingly restored and modernised by the most delightful couple. Lots of old stone, artefacts from the grounds had been thoughtfully refashioned, all alongside modern furnishings. It felt quite a privilege to be enjoying this Old building which had had new life breathed into it. We had a very tasty 3 course dinner and breakfast was truly excellent. I could not recommend this delightful property more highly. Just sad that we will probably never travel this road again. The owners spent time chatting to us telling us about the renovation journey and we left feeling as though we were old friends.

Good breakfast with lots of lovely local meats and cheeses. Evening meal was freshly cooked.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful location. This is a fairly new small property which has been beautifully and tastefully restored. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, rooms comfy, food excellent. Exceptional value for money as dinner and breakfast are included in the price.

It is on the top of a hill overlooking the small village of Torà in a very quiet and peaceful environment. The hotel is medieval architecture beautifully restored and refurbished and has such an enchanting charm! The owners are also very lovely people and they were always willing to help us during our stay.

The couple were extremely welcoming and answered all our questions. The renovation of the Castell is fabulous and the pool and garden area has stunning views. The facilities were beautiful and clean. Great dinner and breakfast. A fantastic stay!
