“A little gem in the middle of town”
We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Calais. It is a lovely renovated first floor apartment that has lots of charm as well as being quite stylish. It is very well presented with lots of little extras and nice little touches. The entrance is to the side of the property, down a gravel and weedy driveway ......and the parking spot is right outside the door. You get the whole of this driveway to yourself. We have a large Skoda sedan car (Superb) and we were able to park easily, but just go carefully and slowly. The apartment, whilst located in the centre of town and within easy walking distance of shops and attractions was very quiet. We also had a lovely afternoon walk along the Canal. The apartment is light filled and very clean and is very well equipped. The large bed was very comfortable with good pillows and nice linens. It was lovely to sit on the terrace looking towards the old town and have a beer after a long drive. We didn't meet Florent as you let yourself in with the key lockbox but communication with Florent was good and we would like to say thank you for the breakfast items, which were a nice surprise and for sharing your lovely home.

“Stunning apartment.”
The apartment was absolutely brilliant, really clean, comfortable, and beautifully equipped, the bed is the most comfortable iv ever slept in! Tonnerre is a gem, a diamond in the rough. It has stunning views and the Fosse Dionne (A Hydro vent.) is definitely worth a visit, as is the many churches in this gorgeous ancient town.
