Very close to the train station.

Owner not there to check in, didn't know which room to sleep in. People were coming then leaving as most rooms hadn't been made and no one to talk with.

“Nice stay near Tomakomai station”

The rooms are quite small, but the beds are comfortable. In the shared room I stayed in, there was a single bunk bed with limited extra space. There is only one bathroom for guests, located on the first floor, while the rooms are on the second. The owner was friendly, and I had the chance to meet some great people during my stay. Overall, not a bad experience!

“Worst service ever”

I didn't see any staff when arriving and leaving. They were supposed to send the room number before arrival but they didn't so I had to stay one hour without news. At some point I just picked a random room. 1:30 later I received a call from staff. As no one was here I did not know where to park and I still don't know where the free parking is. I had to pay the parking. The person at the phone was barely speaking english and showing any interest in my demands. I speak a bit japanese so I tried to speak but she did not want to explain me about the parking. So you should remove "free parking" and "english speaker" from the description.

It was smelly, only one bathroom and shower, super expensive for what you get. Could never sleep properly.

“Compact and budget friendly”

The location is very close to the train station and an okay walking distance to the nightlife area to the south-west. The rooms are surprisingly small but at least you can get one to yourself.

This is a small hostel with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, it is very clean and the host very kindly let me put my bike in the entrance area. We were able to use the kitchen area to cook and eat. I had a single room which was quiet and had aircon/heating. There is a laundry, shops and bars/restaurants very close by.

Cheap. Beds are not in one big dormitory but subdivided into rooms of four, so when travelling with others you have decent odds of a quiet stay. the beds are not bad at all, I slept very well here. The bed cabins are very spacious for hand luggage. Rooms have AC, a plus in Hokkaido where not all buildings have it. Right next to the station, and right next to 'Bancam', a great old café that I would reccommend to visitors of Tomakomai. Be there a bit before opening time as it fills up faster than you'd expect. Really no check-in or -out to speak of, especially if you're a regular and book online. And if you don't have a car to park.

Nice location, comfortable bed

Arrived late and the host had everything prepared for me. Room was comfortable and quiet. Property right beside the train and bus station (including airport shuttle).

Location.... just steps away from the Tomakomai Train Station. Very easy to go airport from here. If you take a bus, it's ¥630 If you take the train, it's $1500 Train takes about 30 mins. Bus just take an additional 30 mins, which is why i took the bus. For bus, it stops right at the airport For the price, u get a small room to yourself. I like this!!!

For solo traveller without much budget, this is definitely one of the best type of hotel you can imagine.
