“A five star experience in a typical Japanese home.”

This was our 4th one month visit to Japan and without doubt our overall experience was the best we have had. The hostess, Yoriko, has created a warm, comfortable and welcoming house for visitors to the area of Tokushima. The house has everything you could ever hope to find when travelling ( we were there 5 nights), from the possibility of having your own little Japanese tea ceremony to a shoe dryer should you get caught in one of the occasional downpours. We had the opportunity to meet Yoriko in person and I can honestly say she was the kindest and most welcoming host we have ever come across in our many adventures around the world. Words cannot describe her spirit of wanting to please and help. She offered us to enter the house one day early free of charge because of a typhoon warning for the area and to have a late check out at 2.00 pm to fit in with our flight schedule. Not at all common. A beautiful person.

Yoriko has done a superb job and we had a wonderful stay in Yue. Definitely highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay - lots of little extras all around the house, fridge full of food to get us started, lots of things for our toddler (toys, books, high chair etc). The host was fantastic and even organised a bike with a baby seat for us prior to our stay, which was wonderful for getting around. Lots of local tips provided as needed - we would have loved to be able to fit more of them in!

This accommodation is more than a BnB. You have the opportunity to live in a Showa style Japanese house and to imagine anther life. Everything.in he house is beautiful and invites reflection. Very spacious with a generous host who provides ingredients for breakfast and much more. This is the first time I have given a 10. If you are in Tokushima this is an experience you should have.

It was well fitted out with everything you needed including a full fridge, coffee and teas. Excellent host who communicated regularly. Great shower.

The owner is so nice to prepare welcome tea packs, and all the ingredients for bread, fruits, and drinks with all other stuff are top of the range. And support us all times to reserve for dinner and even for ferry tickets of cars with passengers. Very polite lady and place are tidy, feel the excellent preparation and with heart to operate the house and treat customers like friends. Strongly recommend for this place, and you could feel what I experienced. It's absolutely fabulous. 5 stars rating. Little gift for your great support and help

The property is just stunning and spotless inside. It was absolutely perfect stay in a lovely local area in just a lovely perfect house! The host is the liveliest and most helpful person you can imagine.

We were so lucky to meet Yoriko. She met us when we arrived and took us on a thorough tour of this lovely house and helped us decide on some activities. The house itself is great with breakfast, snacks and all the items and utensils you need for cooking provided or you could always try the friendly yakitori restaurant down the road for dinner. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it, so much better than a hotel. Thanks Yoriko so lovely to meet you.

Yoriko is such an amazing host making the stay in Tokushima pur joy. The house is clean, beautiful and well equipped. You can enjoy Matcha, Indigo Dyeing, baking bread and ride E-bikes. We loved it and would love to come back in the future! Magic place✨

Both the host and accommodation were outstanding. Traditional japanese accommodation close to supermarkets, the river and train station. Our stay was one of the highlights of our time in Japan.

Home away from home. Super nice and helpful landlady. Kitchen is fully furnished just like a good Japanese home. The house also comes with bicycles such that you can explore the area, and in-house there are lots of fun things to do. Highly recommend this.
