Great location for visiting Kiyotsu. The house is large and fully equipped. Interesting architecture and design.

Amazingly charming historical house, maintained by owner with lots of love for every tiny detail. It was a place I’ve never been but I felt melancholic, absolutely a fantastic place to stay. Pity that we spent only for 14 hours in the house.

The house is spacious and decors are artistic. Fireplace is a lovely touch if you don't mind playing with fire and woodpile. We went grocery and cooked everyday in the house, the dining room is delightful for a dinner of five.

“A warm stay with a surprise”
Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!
