This family-run hotel is located in the southern Black Forest biosphere reserve and nature park, at the foot of the Feldberg, surrounded by a picturesque landscape of meadows, lakes and forests. The town of Todtnau is 3 km from the Landgasthaus Kurz. The 3-star Landgasthaus Kurz offers spacious, country-style rooms with natural light and light wooden furniture. A rich breakfast buffet is offered every morning at the hotel. Enjoy specialties from the Baden region in our new winter garden, prepared with fresh ingredients and complemented by local wines and beers as well as homemade cakes. With a minimum stay of 2 nights you will receive a Hochschwarzwald Guest Card, which offers discounts on many leisure activities and attractions in the Black Forest.

Nice guesthouse in a beautiful part of the world. Breakfast was buffet continental style with lots of choice. Room was a good size, the bathroom was small but all worked, good shower pressure.

“Lovely hotel in a wonderfull area, perfect to escape from the hectic world”
The hotel is build in a typical German style: the wooden details fit perfect in the natural environment. The hotel is very clean and everything you need is available. The staff (Beactrice?) is very friendly and helpfull if you need something. Breakfast is perfect with fresh fruit, lots of local speciallities and enough choices in drinks and bread.

Lovely hotel with recent extension housing a new restaurant. Food and service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and fresh .plenty of free parking on site

“Never again. Wrong choice”
Unbelievably rude owner. My son was playing peacefully in the front garden and he stepped on a stone. Apparently that stone is really important for her because she started yelling at us in German (although she speaks English very fluently). I noticed that she is angry and warned my son. But she kept watching us all the time, it was so uncomfortable. I asked her if something is wrong but she started getting angry in German again. That was too much for my son, he got too frightened, started crying and screaming. I took my son away.

Very nice staff, delicious breakfast. Good location; very authentic building at the foot of the mountains. Very cosy sleeping room. Basic services, a bit outdated bathroom, but clean and suitable for the job.
