This 3-star-superior hotel is beautifully located in the Black Forest, 4 km from the town of Todnau. It offers a large spa and free WiFi access in the whole building. Parking is free. We loved our stay! The staff, breakfast, dinner, and spa experience were lovely. We enjoyed walking in the Black Forest directly from the hotel. The room was immaculate and comfortable. We would definitely return!

“Perfect location to discover the region”
Location was perfect to discover the south of the Black Forest and there are beautiful hikes immediately starting from the hotel. Family room was very spacious, comfortable, with the sound of the nearby water stream. Breakfast good and varied. Restaurant for evening dinner also good.

“Lovely stopover. We would return.”
We arrived after an 8 hour drive, and a couple of hours later than expected. We were welcomed but asked to go to the restaurant before checking in, which was fine as we were hungry. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Dinner was nice (vegan set menu). Room was nice and quiet despite overlooking road - we could also hear a stream in the background which was nice. Plenty of vegan items at breakfast, including 'meat' and 'cheese' for a proper German style breakfast. Checkout in the morning was friendly. Altogether a good experience, and we would recommend.

“Quality retreat at the mountain.”
The hotel is on an mountain. Its a nice forest area 1000-1200 meters above sea level. I was late for arrival and had to call the hotel for help 0100 in the morning. I was lost 5 kilometers away. Thankfully the hotel staff was able to drive me to the hotel. Good brekfast was inclueded in my budget price. Room was quiet. But i had to have the window closed. The hotel has good standard. A very nice please to retreat from the city and refresh.
