“A perfect Italian homestay experience”

The owners, Marina and Paolo, truly guarantee an authentic Italian home experience. They are incredibly kind and helpful. I initially booked just one night, but I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to return for the last night of my trip as well. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, and the views from the veranda were absolutely outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, with the freedom to choose exactly what I wanted. I also had a wonderful dinner, accompanied by a glass of wine. Everything was prepared by Marina and Paolo. All 10/10 ratings are fully justified by the experience you get here. I would definitely come back again.

Very cosy and comfortable place with a beautiful view. Delicious breakfast. Perfect hosts. We went to Todi to have dinner and the restaurant had a free transport service from and to 4 Gelsi so we did not even have to worry about parking. Great experience!

Marina and Paolo are some of the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered. Their property is beautifully located — close enough to the center to be convenient, yet nestled in the hills with a breathtaking view of the valley. It’s the perfect blend of peace, comfort, and charm. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with light. Every detail shows care and hospitality. What truly made my stay special, though, was the warmth of Marina and Paolo. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, even offering a lovely aperitivo on their beautiful terrace while I worked — a small gesture that made a big difference. Staying here gave me a real taste of authentic Italian countryside life, all at an incredible value. I truly felt at ease during my time at Ai 4 Gelsi, and I can say without hesitation that I left a piece of my heart there. I’m already looking forward to returning and staying with Marina and Paolo again soon.

“Amazing home stay near the heart of Todi.”

Stunning property close to Todi town, amazing views and parking. Bonus seeing the peacocks in the trees early in the mornings. Marina and Paolo were amazing hosts, so welcoming and friendly. They made our birthday stay very special. The breakfast was incredible! Home made cake, biscuits and jam along with fresh fruit, cheese, meat and bread. Also made scrambled eggs and bacon on request. Coffee was amazing too! Would 100% recommend and will definitely return.

The whole experience was wonderful! Marina and Paolo were exquisite hosts, they made us feel very welcome. The location of their BnB is in a captivating position with a fantastic view over the hills of Umbria. The breakfast served was comprised of gorgeous fresh breads, with several home made jams, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, sliced cured meats from the region and an absolutely delicious breakfast tart of fresh apricots. The bed is ultra comfy, and the bathroom is brand new with a strong shower and also a beautiful window overlooking the valley.

The breakfast was exceptional. It was an exceptionally healthy breakfast and we were spoilt of choice. A greater percentage of the ingredients came from the host's garden. The breakfast was filling that we had no need to snack on anything during the day. It was provided well on time and there was lovely, soothing classical music in the background. The hosts were so friendly that we felt so relaxed. There were beautiful views from the accommodation and stunning walkways a stone through away from the accommodation. We had high class, well-furnished and very clean bathroom. The host provided transport to town and other places we needed to go. We were also given information about places to visit in Todi which really helped us. The host also helped us to buy bus tickets. Overall the services we received was beyond our expectations and beyond what we paid for. The peace surrounding the accommodation is brilliant.
