As expected. Clean room, lots of towels, toiletries. Quiet, great location right at the centre of the town. Close to the restaurants.

Underneath the bed is very dirty and unhygienic, and previous guests coffee filter was still in the coffee machine. There was no microwave, or we were never told about common microwave.

Reception staff were not knowledgeable of their own accommodations. We were given wrong directions to find our room - a short drive away. Had to return to reception to ask someone who knew. What hotel room have you ever stayed in that has no coat hangers??? Seemed a strange oversight.

The apartment was bright and spacious, well furnished/decorated, and in a good location close to the centre of Tobermory with parking right outside. The balcony on which to eat breakfast was a bonus (although a bit of landscaping to improve the view wouldn't go amiss!)

Communication in advance of our visit was good. Although no staff were present on arrival an envelope with the keys was left for us in the letterbox; and a member of staff passed by soon afterwards to check everything was ok.

The staff need to know where everything is. We were sent to the wrong place twice, and we're very upset when we could not find the appartment. It was not numbered A little training could have prevented our frustration
