Placed in the wonderful surroundings and astonishing nature of rare beauty this hotel and restaurant although nothing superficial, offers a welcoming, traditional, warm and clean property to enjoy your stay in the area. There is free parking just outside, wifi and the Badeparadise is very near. The restaurant serves in whitewashed table clothes and rustic wooden rooms very nice breakfast but also delicious dinner. All the things we tried were really tasty and the service was helpful and very polite. Also, it was offered tea and coffee free of.charge 24/7.

“Great authentic German gasthof with excellent food”

Outstanding gasthof restaurant with large variety of food. Was happily surprised by a small play place for kids, as well as separate kids menu in the restaurant. Room was spacious with wonderful view, good quality beds and overall just nice and tidy. It’s typical German ‘gasthof’ style, so don’t expect white and black - but the atmosphere is great and staff is very helpful and friendly. Very authentic German place. The rooms has a wonderful balcony, which we used a lot.

“Fantastic country house hotel near Titisee”

Authentic, large but cosy Black Forest country house. Large rooms with covered balcony on upper floors. Host gave us a choice of rooms and was very accommodating. Free and easy parking right outside. Hotel also has a guest lounge area with drinks and snacks (paid separately) and sauna. Very good value buffet dinner with regional side-salad specialties. Very good schnitzel. The Gulasch was amazing! Local beer. They also stock local products - we tried a pear and honey schnapps - which was amazing. Attentive, helpful service. Countryside location but close to Neustadt for choice of supermarkets, petrol etc. Ideal stopover location if travelling through.

Lovely stay, spacious room with a great balcony view. En suite separated by a door into bedroom, useful if corridor had been noisy, which it was not. Night light in socket a small, but useful detail, in finding way to bathroom at night. Tea and coffee in room, but also a great lounge with free tea, coffee, chocolate to sit and enjoy. Breakfast buffet v good selection which we enjoyed. Parking no problem. Recommend.

Nice location, 8 min driving distance from Titisee. The hotel is a bit outdated, but the room is really big and cozy, with great view, bathtub and big balcony.
