The room was huge, very quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is less than 2 minutes from the station and you get a free travel card to use on the bus or train, anywhere within the Black Forest.

Very large bathroom and bedroom with separate sitting area. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Good restaurant. Free parking. A coupon for free local bus and train to Freiburg during stay was provided as well. Breakfast was very good with a large selection, including scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and bacon.

Staff were accommodating, helping with every aspect of the stay, even when I hound a puncture!

Room was clean and spacious. There is a balcony with table and chairs which is great to relax in. The restaurant does great food, staff was patient and understanding as I stumbled on with my very bad (google translate assisted) German. It is only about 50 metres to the train station and bus stop. Hotel is also part of the Konus card scheme which allows free transportation on the regional trains and buses.

From few steps from the bus, which bring you to the castle. Old fashioned rooms, direct view to the castle. Breath taking. Free parking in front of the hotel.

Good location of the hotel (3 minutes walk to the train station). Beautiful view of the mountains. Hospitable staff. Good breakfasts. Delicious regional food in the hotel restaurant. We liked everything.
