Staff were amazing. Welcomed at the door. Helped with our bags and parking the car in the underground garage. Service was excellent. Food was delicious and service with a smile.

The hotel is in nice location to catch the bus/train and lot of restaurant around it. The staff of the hotel are so welcoming and amazing.They are so helpful.

Welcoming, friendly staff. Spacious family room with separate bedroom and WC for the children. At the back of the hotel so very peaceful, and comfortable beds meant we slept so well. Delicious breakfast, and food at the restaurant for dinner very good.

“Great place”

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a trip to the Black Forest. The staff are brilliant, especially the lady (apologies, I didn't catch her name) who runs the guesthouse and works very hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our German is very basic (we will try to learn more for next time!) but the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the food in the restaurant was delicious at both breakfast and dinnertime, and the "Ossos" beer brewed by the guesthouse was great. We would definitely come back when next in the area, the region is beautiful and would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you!

Well located to be able to get the train/bus to locations in the Black Forest like Titisee and Schulchsee which is included with the Guest card. Bathroom was nice and modern. Hot food for breakfast was cooked to order which meant it was nice and fresh.

The room was spacious and recently renovated and modernized to a high standard. The breakfast buffet was extensive and especially the bakery products extremely fresh. The restaurant was typically German, mostly meat and potatoes. The value for money was excellent.

“Better than Titisee”

The guesthouse is modern, with professionally made bathrooms and good quality furniture. We stayed with a child and she got her own bed for free. Our matras had a plastic cover on it (probably for hygienic purposes) that made the same sound as a toy we have for our child, so we had te remove them otherwise she couldn't sleep. This was a bit unfortunate, but not a problem. They also have a laundry service which we were happy to use, because the laundry service in town is too difficult (you will understand when you look it up). The personell is very friendly, also to non-german speaking people. Everyone greets you with a friendly smile and they accept special requests without trouble, such as an extra egg at breakfast. Finally, the location of the guesthouse is very nice. The town is beautiful. Much better to stay than Titisee. The train station is on a 10 minutes walk, the supermarket, drugstore and many good restaurants are within 5 minutes. The park next to the church is large enough for a good stroll and well-made with nice walking paths and a creek in the middle.

Very friendly hostess and personnel, excellent service. Everything is well run and the breakfast is great. These people have passion for their business, comes highly recommended!

A very friendly family owned hotel, ideally located within walking distance of the train station. If you stay three or more nights, you get free public transport, including local trains. The hotel even brews its own bier.

“Already looking forward to return.”

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, amazing variety of delicious treats: homemade jam and marmalade, homemade yoghurts, cheeses and sausages.

The atmosphere warm and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good, for a supermarket is within three-minute walking distance. The dinner in the hotel is delicious.
