Yala Wild Hut is truly a unique place. The tents are luxurious and fully equipped – nothing is missing. We were especially impressed by the spacious and very well-designed bathroom. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and always helpful. A big compliment to the entire team! The only thing to note is that the road to get there is a bit bumpy, so the driver should be careful. Our driver handled it perfectly. A place we can highly recommend.

“Privacy In Nature”

Wonderful location for bird watching. Loved the privacy and quiet. Dark at night without lights to disturb sleep. Food was very good. Especially enjoyed a few short walks. Clean. Comfortable spacious beds.

“Amazing experience in nature, a unique stay!”

Great location in the national park, close to the safari entry. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food included in full board was very good and generous portions. Very warm welcome on the rock with some tea and snacks. We booked the morning safari through the accommodation and out host was also our guide. We loved our 1-night stay here, such a unique experience. Spotted all the animals we wanted to see during the safari. We highly recommend the Yala Wild Hut!

“Exceptional Hospitality Near Yala National Park”

Yala Wild Hut is without a doubt the most friendly and welcoming place we have ever experienced. We have never encountered such high levels of service and genuine kindness from staff. From the moment we arrived - when they personally picked us up from the main road - to the detailed explanation of everything in our bungalow, the service was a solid 10/10. The location is excellent, very close to the entrance of Yala National Park. It’s a true glamping experience: you stay in either a bungalow or a tent (we chose the bungalow), surrounded by beautiful nature. They also clearly ensure guests feel safe, explaining the fenced surroundings so there’s no need to worry about wildlife. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband wasn’t feeling well, and they thoughtfully adapted the meals for him. Since we left very early for safari, they even prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. Everything was arranged perfectly, such wonderful, caring people.

The tent is great, clean and very spacious. Snelle like fresh linnen. A family of four easily fits in Beds are super comfy. Never slept better during my trip. The food is amazing. So tasty. The BBQ has a nice setup under the trees with candles and lights. The stars at night are soooo bright. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the owner is really going out of his way to make you as comfortable and happy as possible..

“Very special, a wonderful memory we will cherish!”

The tents were nice… we were a little daunted when we arrived as we were in the jungle so to speak. It turned out to be the best experience ever. Lensi our host and guide was an absolute joy. His hospitality is very good, he is professional, funny and engaging. He knowledge of the country, wildlife and natural environment is great. Thank you for a memorable experience. The chef provided delicious food and so much of it. We were more than pleasantly surprised. For lunch on safari they bought fresh plates and cutlery. Everything was clean and fresh… All the staff were excellent. We were a party of 8 in the two tents, and everyone thought it was amazing. So much thought had gone into making us feel special, from watching the sunset on the high rocks to safari and breakfast before leaving.

Yala Wild Hut is really a wonderful place to go!!! This is my second time to Yala, and luckily I met this place. Lensi is really helpful and offer us a wonderful Safari here. People are so kind here and help us deal with many things. The tent is really modern and you dont need to worry about the stay. Just enjoy your stay here!!!

Had a fantastic stay all at Yala Wild Hut. We chose the all inclusive food and safari. We got loads of really delicious Sri Lanka food, a feast. We did a morning safari with Calu who was kind and knowledgeable on safari. As much as they could, they tried to avoid the crowds of jeeps. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Great adventure! This was really on of the kind experience. Wild and great. We were with small children, they also loved the stay. Food and service was exceptionally great!

There are 2 tents, so it is very intimate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged the safari for us which made it easy. The food was delicious including the BBQ night. The cold water showers were very refreshing. They arranged the 4wd to pick us up from the main road as our van wouldn't have been able to make it down their driveway.

Incredible stay in Yala national park. For us this place was made amazing by the staff! Absolutely incredible service. They made it so special for us. The food was great, and plenty of it! And the atmosphere of being in the national park and having dinner by candle light under the stars was an unforgettable experience. Very close to the Yala safari gate for safari experience. The beds were comfortable & we were kept cool at night with the fans.

“An incredibly authentic and comfortable experience”

The serenity of the property is amazing- so quiet and peaceful. This place is run by locals and money goes directly back to them, which we were so happy to support. The food was incredible and staff highly attentive. We were the only ones there- although it felt a bit strange at the start, they did everything to make our stay comfortable and authentic. Dhammika was lovely as a guide and took us to an amazing temple after our safari. I cannot recommend this place enough.

“Amazing glamping; highly recommend”

Amazing glamping facilities. Really large comfortable beds and good bathroom. All exceptionally clean. Organised to meet us at the entrance road in a 4x4 as the road is very bumpy. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Amila, who looked after us from start to finish. Definitely recommend full board as the food was fantastic (and nowhere nearby to go for dinner). They organised our safari, at much more reasonable prices than other hotels/companies and woke us for our early start with a coffee, which was hugely appreciated.

“The perfect 2 night stay in Yala”

This is a small dwelling of two Safari tents and it was wonderful to be able to remove ourselves from the busier areas and really enjoy being in the middle of nowhere enjoying the peace of nature. The tents were very spacious, very comfortable and clean. What makes this place even more special is the staff. They couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. The food and service was amazing and even in the middle of a thunderstorm they brought us our high tea to our tent! The safari they arranged was also fab and in particular Isuru who was very knowledgeable and explained everything. We could’ve asked for more…

This was a really lovely glamping experience. We stayed here with our two children who had a very nice time. The rooms are beautifully finished in polish concrete and everything is immaculately clean. The staff were amazing and really really attentive.
