Basic, budget accommodation but comfortable and clean. Pool was refreshing and they arranged a Yala Safari for me which was convenient.

This guesthouse is beautifully situated within rice paddies. It's very peaceful. From here it's a nice stroll to a big lake where you can see a lovely sunset with lots of birds and afterwards thousands of flying foxes passing by. We enjoyed a quick check-in and a nice welcome drink. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There is a small porch in front of the room with chairs to enjoy a relaxed day. Even better is the incredible pool with views of the rice paddies and palm trees. In the elevated restaurant we had a delicious and freshly cooked dinner. The wife of the owner is a really good cook. It perfectly matched our taste (not too spicy for us foreigners, but well seasoned ;-) ).

price was really good! the property had a parking space for our small suzuki wagon, that was really practical :) staff was friendly 🤙🏽 next to a western restaurant and cafe with local food too.

The beds are comfortable and with good mosquito nets, very essential at that location. The bathroom looks old fashioned but is functional. It has running hot water gun a solar heater. It is located on the main road but quiet. Each room has a porch which offers a relaxing view of a farm opposite. We woke up to the chirping of many birds and the sight of peacocks beside the place. In other words, it is good enough for a night stay after an afternoon safari or before a morning safari at Yala National Park. The lady who takes care of guests' needs prepared excellent vegetable rottis and hoppers for us and the dining area where we had breakfast was relaxing.

Swimming pool was nice. Also nice restaurants nearby. Owner helped us when our baby got sick, we felt very welcome. Smoothies are really good for breakfast

Travellers Home is a very clean and conveniently located hotel. The pool was a lovely respite on humid hot afternoons. The owners were very helpful

The ladies working there were quite nice and the facilities were kinda ok for the price. The owner is a rude, aggressive, disrespectful man!! He harassed us already after the booking to get the safari booked with him(we explained we had booked it already) as soon we arrived he was rude and unfriendly and really intrusive

I loved the pool. Clean and a great way to cool off in the afternoon. The staff were super friendly especially the owners who made us a good deal for a safari and got us a great rate for exchange of OZ $. The room was really clean as was the bathroom. Highly recommended.
