Staff, Location, Food, Manager were the best. Only feedback is about the frequent power disconnection. Management needs to seriosuly look on to this issue on a very urgent basis. Apart from this big cheers to manager cum guide he was exceptional. Restaurant people were also too sweet and helpful.

“Amazing stay”

Most breathtaking accommodation in the region. The private pool was amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Vila was very nice, special location

The room was great. Loved the private pool and the tub. The bathroom could of had a fan in there as it got a little warm.

The property is located on the edge of Tissa lake which is very peaceful. Breakfasts were delicious. The stand outs for us were the tours organised through Blue Wild, and our guide Kumara who was fantastic. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm gave us an incredible safari to Yala as well as a local bird watching trip in Tissa. Our trip with Kumara to Katagarama gave us wonderful information about the temples as well as valuable cultural insights.

“Beautiful accommodation”

We upgraded to a pool villa - definitely worth the extra. The food and breakfast were great as well.

The villa itself was stunning. The most beautiful scenery and just a wonderful place to relax. Room service was fast and it was easy to organise a safari.

The staff were all so helpful, the safari we arranged through the hotel was excellent and the villa was beautiful just like the pictures. We stayed over new year and the staff pulled out all the stops to put on a special additional breakfast full of traditional local treats which was fascinating and delicious

Had an amazing stay, room was every bit as good as the pictures and the service was great. Food in the restaurant was great and really large portions. Had our safari thru the hotel too and it was incredible.

“A little gem”

This place is a gem. We stayed in a two bedroom villa - family with 11 and 14 year old boys. We all loved the villa and the pool! Staff were lovely. We ate on site and food was good and reasonably priced. They had the best chocolate milkshakes according to my son! We wished we could have stayed longer!

We loved everything about Blue Wild! The food was the nicest we had in Sri Lanka, the pool was super clean and the bed was so comfy! Massive shout out to our tour guide who took us down elephant toad and the staff too! They were absolutely incredible, make sure you stay here if you are in Sri Lanka! You will not regret it! We did a safari too, and we were not going to originally, so glad the hotel sorted it as it was the highlight of our stay!

The rooms and view are amazing and a definite highlight. We enjoyed being in our pool overlooking the lake and watching the wildlife. the staff were lovely and kind and we enjoyed all our food in the restaurant!

“Safari treat”

Amazing place to stay. We had a room with a private pool overlooking the lake, so there was lots of wildlife to look at. Our villa was huge, a fantastic huge bathroom, with a bath overlooking the lake too. It really is a special place to stay. It has an overall calm about it. We woke up one morning to find water buffalo, a peacock, and a giant lizard in our garden. The restaurant is lovely and we experienced a candlelight dinner outside on our first night. The staff are amazing and so attentive. One of the staff, Dilap and his wife, even took us to Mirissa on his day off. If you want to treat yourself then this is the place to do it.

“Lovely accommodation highlighted by amazing staff.”

All the staff members were absolutely lovely and kind. The process from pre-check in, to check in and to check out was all a very smooth process. The room was exactly like the photos and the outside area with the pool is definitely a feature. The location is about 5-10 minutes outside the town but is a great base to go to Yala. All in all a brilliant stay to unwind and relax.

“Bad experience”

I travelled 3 hours from my home to have a great time with my kids . Unfortunately, property management asked me to pay extra money for my kids' cehckin . Very disappointed
