The location is perfect - you have a few steps from the back door by the bar, then you're straight out onto the slope by the Tufs lift. Could not be more convenient! The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful at every point during your stay. They allow you to use the dining room facilities (including kettle and microwave) in the evening, even though there's no restaurant service. Facilities are basic, but everything is functional.

Amazing location, properly ski in ski out accommodation. Super friendly and helpful staff who attract similar guests. Travelling as single mum with two teens the friendly welcoming vibe of the hotel made it easy to make friends with other guests and feel at ease sorting the various ‘ski logistics’. Paul gave great advice/help to anything I asked and saved me quite a lot of money by advising on ski pass purchase etc. Will be recommending Hotel La Vanoise and coming back soon!

Nice cozy room at a great location in Tignes Val Claret. Ski-in-ski-out access to Tufs lift, and great ski storage facilities. Decent breakfast at the hotel.

It is a no-frills hotel with ski-in and ski-out access. It has ski and boot storage. Our room was basic, but it had all we needed. The breakfast was substantial and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent and offers truly ski in ski out with access to both Val d’Isere and the Tignes and Glacier lifts. The accommodation is pretty basic but clean with loads of storage in the room. The seperate loo and functioning bath were a bonus. There was lots of hot water for the shower and the bath. Breakfast is standard but all fresh with good bread and pastries and everything is replenished as required. The staff are brilliant and being able to buy your ski pass daily from Paul at the reception desk is a real boon. He gave us good advice on the best ticket to buy which saved us money. There are good restaurants and bars a few minutes walk away. There was parking outside for unloading and loading and the long term parking was a short walk away

The location is perfect for getting on/off the slopes and walking in to Val Claret for bars and restaurants, it is also easy to pick up a bus to other parts of Tignes.
