The toilet was clogged 3 times, and the breakfast was very bad. The hotel has completely deteriorated

“Zhang, the staff member was great. It was good value even though decor is dated. Soft pilllows!”
It was close to the hotel and the breakfast was good (Asian mainly) and the shuttle to the airport was quick and also free. Took only 10 mins. The receptionist Zhang who was there the whole night from when we checked in at 930 to when we checked out at 7am was very very helpful. I needed a receipt from the last hotel I was at and she called them for me and because they couldn’t understand my email address (in English), she had them forwarded to her own email and then forwarded it to me. And she helped me get my luggage on the the shuttle and she also gave me info on the timings for breakfast and the shuttle.

I enjoyed the availability of a nicely cooked, hot meal when we were there.

“I'll be back if visiting again.”
The hotel is absolutely fine, but as a Westerner I can't quite appreciate the extensive Chinese selection for breakfast. My fault entirely, as Tianjin is not exactly an international tourist town, it was perfectly OK.
