“Comfortable, good bus service into Thun, lovely lakeside walk to Thun”

Nice atmosphere

It was super clean, the sheets smelled fresh and the room was well equipped. The location could be found easily, the parking was free and spacious. The staff were very kind and smiling.

Room was a good size, clean, modern and well equipped. The restaurant was closed the night I stayed but it is also the place where you have breakfast. It is a lovely traditional restaurant with a few rooms, a bar and an outside area for the summer months. The breakfast was continental style but with more and you can ask for cooked eggs too and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time in a hotel!

Quiet, wonderful bed and bathroom. Good italian restaurant.

Nice stay close to lake, perfect dinner and nice breakfast. I was alone there but happy. I'll come back.

Very clean and modern room. I had a view over the mountain and garden which felt nice. The place has Italian vibes and amazing coffee during breakfast. Very close to the lake and just 20 minutes walk from Thun, walk with amazing lake view. Will return while in Thun region

“Nice and quiet hotel on the Thunersee”

We were at the Thunersee for a wedding and at first we were worried about when we would arrive (12 pm) and that we couldn‘t check-in early. However the staff were so nice and let us leave our luggage at the hotel and gave us our keys already, so that we could come back at 1 am after the wedding and just arrive without having to bother anybody. The hotel is very clean and quiet, it‘s located right next to a bus stop and has many parking spots if you arrive by car. The breakfast was small but absolutely sufficient. The staff are so nice!

Our favourite place to stay in the area of Thun, fully refurbished, the staff is always super kind, they have in the room soeder soaps that smell amazing, and they always take good care of us as vegans for breakfast! Plus they have air conditioning which is not so common to be found

Fantastic Stay During the Women’s Euros – Highly Recommended We stayed at this wonderful hotel for ten days in July while following the Icelandic team during the Women’s Euros group stage. Our group consisted of eight people, aged between 27 and 82, spread across four rooms. Everything was spot on. The rooms were simple, spacious, and very clean. To our surprise, they were equipped with air conditioning, which turned out to be essential during the warm summer days. The hotel is run by a young family whose hospitality and kindness were truly outstanding. The entire staff was consistently helpful, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine—though notably without pizzas. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with custom-made eggs (fried, boiled, or omelette), a variety of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts, and very good coffee. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the water, a small beach, and a cozy beach bar owned by the hotel’s proprietor. Public transport is very convenient, with frequent buses to Thun and around the lake area stopping right outside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Nice place. Next to the lake. 30 min walk from city centre

It was a great stay. We choose this hotel based on the previous reviews and we were not at all disappointed. Everyone is so helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel has it's authentic beauty with clean rooms, nice view over the mountains and it's placed 2 minutes from the lake, with a boat station right in front. Also, the restaurant is really nice, delicious breakfast and great dinner. For sure, for our next stay in Thun we will choose again this hotel.
