“A beautiful place to rest and reset”

This property provides a comfortable stay in a spacious, air conditioned room. The location is fantastic for surfers, right by the Cokes paddle-out point, and a short stroll to Bikini Beach for a swim. There is a lovely view from the room out to the reef, and the rooms offer good privacy and light-limiting curtains. We appreciated having a washing machine to do laundry onsite, and a safe for our valuables. The bathroom is huge and the shower pressure was good. All staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure guests were enjoying their stay. Of particular mention is the breakfast, included in the price. This was an absolute highlight and delicious every single day.

Everything- great location close to bikini beach and surfbreak, super comfortable beds, big bathroom and all super clean. View from room was stunning. Stuff was exceptional-very responsive and welcoming.

The staff tries to do their best and help you with all inquiries. Everything on the island is walking distance. And you get the local experience and the beauty of Maldives for reasonable price

Clean spacious room with a comfortable bed, sea view and a lovely balcony at a reasonable price. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly, service minded and helpful. They organised boat transfers to and from Male and picked us up from the ferry terminal. The hotel is on the edge of the village making it very easy to explore the village, beaches, restaurants and shops. The hotel also has a buffet breakfast and opportunity for lunch and tasty evening meals should you wish.

Communication from the staff was very helpful. Upon booking they offer to assist with any boat transfers from the airport, and pick up from the jetty once you arrive. The property itself is just like the photos. A small yet comfortable room. The sea view from the third floor balcony was fantastic. It is a short walk from a bikini beach which has several beach front cafe and restaurants. As a solo traveller, I felt safe here. At first I was worried about walking around alone in the dark as we are facing the sea it seemed very dark. The hotel manager reassured me that it was a very safe place and tourists are appreciated and very welcome. The hotel staff were available on whats app & happy to help with any requests. All staff were very kind and helpful.

“Excellent and fully recommend”

Perfectly located next to Bikini Beach, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and attentive. The luggage of my friend was delayed due to an airline failure and the airline itself was completely unresponsive, leaving us with no information, Ismail and his team went above and beyond to help. They did everything possible to locate her suitcase at Malé airport and even managed to arrange a much faster transfer than the airline ever did. They made countless phone calls on my behalf, kept her updated throughout the process, and truly made me feel supported and at home. We are incredibly grateful to have met them and will always remember their exceptional hospitality and dedication. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its authentic atmosphere, outstanding service, and perfect location to experience local life in the Maldives. We also did an excursion for snorkel arranged by the hotel that was absolutely amazing and at an excellent price. The breakfast was also very good. We had an amazing time overall. The staff were very kind, helpful & friendly. They will pick you up and transport you to places. Thank you for arranging the three great snorkelling trips I went on. Great restaurants close by, The Nexus Hub & Fusion. Some good cafes too. The first part of Bikini beach near Reef Edge is too rocky really for safe swimming. But just walk a few minutes further round and it’s lovely to swim in and even gets deep towards the rock barrier. Other beaches not developed at all. Sunset beach nothing there, has some industry around it like water plant and no access path, you walk over some rocks. Dream beach, small & pretty with good sunsets there but only 4-5 straw shelter type things where people are liable to pile in next to you! Also it’s very shallow for a long way. One day they will probably improve the plastic sunbeds on Bikini Beach by putting mats on them. Bear in mind that on these local islands there will be developments springing up so you could get some building noise. Luckily it didn’t impact me too much to spoil the relaxing experience. I don’t know about the future. It’s a difficult one because understandably locals want to improve their economy but tourists don’t want to hear the sound of axel grinders on a supposedly paradise dream relaxing holiday. But as for Reef Edge it does a superb job and I thoroughly recommend this place.

“Perfection”

As soon as I arrived I felt at home, Chamila and his team were incredible, they couldn’t do enough for me.. my flight was delayed so I missed my boat, Chamila arranged me a seat on a later boat. I cut my feet up on the reef and had a few urchins, they saw to it and removed the urchins and helped me out every day applying first aid and asking how they were feeling. they always had a smile on their faces and made my stay amazing.. all of the staff I met there were so nice and extremely helpful! The hotel is great, amazing location, super clean and the food was incredible.. great breakfast selection too! The chef is amazing. Cant recommend Reef Edge enough, the best! So sad to leave! Cant wait to return. Thank you Chamila and staff Luke.

“Reef Edge - best hotel in Thulusdhoo”

We spent 4 nights at Reef Edge (6 adults and 2 children, ages 4 and 2). From the very beginning, communication with the accommodation was perfect. They were waiting for us at the harbour and took us to the hotel, where we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. The hotel is wonderful, all the rooms have a terrace with beautiful sea views and the hotel is located in a privileged setting (right next to Bikini Beach and in a very quiet area). The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. It’s worth mentioning that the beds were the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at in the Maldives. As for breakfast, it was varied and delicious. The hotel also has a beautiful, well-kept garden with swings. On top of that, the hotel offers free bicycles for guests, which is very much appreciated and very useful for getting around the island. Finally, we must highlight the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. Summing up, we loved our stay at Reef Edge, had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Everything. Staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. He gave us many tips and organized speedboat transfer and excursions, etc. We loved the breakfast, especially the fish curry. Amazing view and nice garden.
