Building full of character, lovely room with a quirky shower in a curtain but the shower is brilliant falling from a high ceiling. The bar area was good, the abbey was good with a show on when we go there. The area is good for walking about with 4 other bars/ restaurants within about 800m.Tasty breakfast parking over the road but motorcycles felt safe due to the secluded area.

Unfriendly staff, very cold room, breakfast starts at 0800. 40 minutes away to the airport. My room had the toilet and shower in the sleeping area

The room was larger than I expected with a super king size bed. The premises may have been recently refurbished as everything seemed new & in excellent condition. The view of the old abbey opposite was only spoiled by the heavy rain. Breakfast was good, fresh croissants & local cold meats.

The rooms is large. Funny and creative to have the toilet and the shower behind a curtain in the middle of the room. Nice view on the abbay. Good breakfast, friendly person taking good care of us.

Lovely location and quirky building. High standard of workmanship and facilities. Breakfast was good unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the Monday we stayed which was a shame but there was a nice restaurant within 5mins walk.

Clean, unique place for younger couples. We had a breakfast half our earlier according the request. Special gratefull to the personnal man in the kitchen. Amazing view to old castle through the window.

Great bedroom, unique style of interior with an interesting open shower and toilet facilities. Very well taken care of by the staff. Excellent breakfast every morning with attention to customers being a priority. As well as being kind and helpful, the staff even gave me a lift to the closest town as trains were cancelled for the day.
