It is a simple yet very comfy stay in the beautiful Thorsminde, between the fjord and raging North sea. The cabin was clean and cozy, the staff helpful and friendly, location perfect to detach and be together with nature.

The hiker's cabin of about 10m2 at the Thorsminde campsite was simple but practical decorated, comfortable enough for a good sleep. In another building you could cook, wash dishes and laundry, shower and go to the toilet. And eat your self-prepared meal. Everything was kept clean, also by the guests. At the reception there was a small shop where you could order fresh bread. There is a supermarket about 1 km from the campsite. I didn't go to the swimmingpool. The campsite borders the fjord. The small, rain-muddy grassy beach is used by kite surfers. It is a few minutes' drive or walk to the village, the harbour and the sea. Tips to do: Visit the interesting, well-documented stranding museum, drive to the Bovbjerg lighthouse and take a walk through the colourful flamingo nature park near Vemb (where there are no flamingos to be seen, by the way).

Perfect for a short stay holiday/vacation. As a family of 3 we had always enough to do. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly we could communicate in English or German without a problem.

I liked the location, cleanliness, attitude of the owners. This is a good place for caravanners and those who like active recreation. The place is well prepared for a comfortable holiday with your caravan or tent. There is a playground for children. The shower was clean and warm, despite the fact that the temperature outside was only +8. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food and wash dishes.

I dont' think I have any thing satisfied. Since everything just below my expectation. Only thing to be thankful is we luckily get inside the campus before 11pm and the gate close at 11pm (I'm not saying 11pm isn't good, but please let your booking customer know that 11pm will be the time you close the gate, a notice on the website or direct message would help a lot).

We got what we expected, the staff was nice and the beds were comfortable. We could turn on the heating which was nice as it was really windy outside.
