It was easily accessible, the facilities were exceptionally clean and warm. The room was spacious, tidy and comfortable. The host went above and beyond for us when our car broke down a few miles away, they didn’t hesitate to come out and help us.

Property was clean and modern. Host was prompt in responding to messages and the check in was very easy.

The view was nice if yppu were tall.enouhh, to see out of the narrow high window. It was warm.inside.

The host answered very quickly all questions. Thee room was big and clean. Has some disadvantages, but compared to the price and we knew these when booking we find this very valuable.

“Great place for a short stop”

The location was great and the rooms were clean and tidy. The host obviously takes time to make everything nice for the guests.

There are a number of problems that might be manageable for a one-night stop, but still very inconvenient. First, there is no stove, you cannot cook hot meals there. No breakfast options are available too. That is really weird for a place where the nearest place you can get a dinner or a breakfast is half an hour drive away, we weren't prepared for that. Second, there is only a single bathroom shared for three rooms (about 10 people), and the only water tap and sink in the guesthouse are also located there. It provides quite an uncomfortable competition in the morning. The only dining table can also accommodate at most half of the people staying when all three rooms are occupied. Third, this is a farm with cows and horses right next to your house. So whenever you open the windows, you get a bunch of flies into your room. Then the things not so important, but also worth mentioning. The walls are very thin, you will wake up as soon as anyone goes out of their room for breakfast (and will have no choice but to enter the morning competition for the bathroom and the only one dining table). The guesthouse itself is located in the basement, the windows are small and next to the ceiling. You'll have natural light coming in (in the rooms only, not in the shared space), but nothing more, do not expect any views or cozy interiors. Some would say this is still a good value for money, but we had better stays for less money in our 2-week trip, and the very best hotel in our trip (with shared kitchen, private bathroom and breakfast included) was only 20 eur/night more expensive (yes, I've booked everything far in advance, so I had some choice).

“Simple but Sufficient for a Short Stay”

The room is very basic, but it has the essentials for a quick overnight stop. There’s a coffee machine and microwave available for preparing a simple breakfast, as well as a shared fridge. The shared bathroom combines the shower and toilet in one space, which isn’t the most convenient, but manageable for a short stay. It’s a budget-friendly option — just don’t expect too much. A bit more attention to cleanliness would make the experience even better.

The bedroom, bathroom and shower were very spacious and the beds were really comfortable! There was a laundry rack and a towel radiator, although the bathroom is shared. You can walk down the road and watch beautiful icelandic horses.

The location.

Everything about this guesthouse was wonderful. The host was friendly and made us feel welcome. As it is part of a farmhouse (the hosts live upstairs and the guests stay downstairs) there are only three rooms to rent. This means you have a lot of privacy, peace and quiet. However, due to its size, the accommodation is very basic in terms of kitchen facilities - there is no oven or microwave (you have to eat cold dinners and breakfasts).

Siggi was a very good host. Generous but also modest. The apartment has great views and location and was very comfortable.
