The ambience was authentically Japanese, with a Japanese garden. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room was very pleasant with lots to look at.

“An exquisite artistic experience.”
This was an exquisite experience. We were welcomed into a Japanese world; the amazing creation of a ceramic and textile artist. For an evening, night and morning breakfast, we became part of her imaginary world and we loved it. Aspects of the experience, such as the low seating, wouldn't suit everyone, but we would highly recommend this step into the serenely calm and gently mystical 'other world'.

“An excursion to wondrous-land”
Nathaniel authentically and lovingly created a little Japan in this most unlikely setting. An absolute must for those with an affinity for beauty, sophistication and a penchant for the unusual!!! The town of Thiers in itself is a wonderful offering for the photographer, painter and poet.... don't miss these gifts!!!

Excellent breakfast with a lot of self-made pastries. Unique decor: the whole house is kept in (what I assume to be) traditional Japonese style.
