“A very memorable stay for all the right reasons”
We had a very warm and friendly reception from the owner and staff. The food was delicious. The room was well equipped and everything is very clean and tidy. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. We'll be going back when we're next in that part of France.

Very friendly staff and accommodating. Large room with comfy bed. Very quiet. Did not eat there but the restaurant was busy and the food looked good. Nice outdoor dining area. Great location to explore surrounding area.

Very welcoming host, large room, bed and bathroom. Easy parking and good access to the autoroute. The evening meal was very good but maybe a little expensive. It is a useful overnight stop from Calais to the south coast and a nice change from the usual chain hotels.

“I would stay here again”
Super large room and comfy bed with spotless linen which was covered over and revealed with a flourish by the maitre de. The hot water supply was quirky and the notice 'lent' (slow) was accurate but when it arrived it was a lovely shower. Situated in a charming village and near to Argenten sur Creuse and a good spot to explore Le Brenne national park that most people drive through on their way south. Very good evening meal

“Basic overnight stay with excellent owner.”
lovely helpful staff, new owners , only been open 2 months, excellent chef. Evening food was good value but would have liked a few vegetables with the tandoori chicken and rice. The bedroom was very large nicely decorated. We wish them well in their new venture.
