Great place to stay Trang and her husband are very king and helpful people and the whole team that work their do a great job cleaning constantly not just once a day but literally if you use the toilet or shower it will be cleaned again within 15 max. The dorms have small lockers to fit a back back and the beds are comfortable with night lights, curtains etc and it has a good AC. I booked my onwards travel with these guys as I’m heading to the capital and it was half the price of 12go. They also have their own little map with stops for the loop and will store your bags whilst you are doing the loop. They serve breakfast and coffees in the morning.

I’ve been travelling for over three years now, and this is by far the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in. They clean the showers every time someone finishes using them, and the rooms are tidy and comfortable. The owner is also super friendly and gives you a Google link for the whole loop where you can find all the important stops, organised into different recommendation groups (from “must-dos” and “can-dos” to “do not”). It includes viewpoints, accommodation, restaurants, and ATMs. You can also leave your backpack here while you’re doing the loop, and card payment is possible. If you ever have any questions or problems, you can always message the owner on WhatsApp.

“Super clean and quiet hostel”

Super central and one of the cleanest hostels I've been to. I know the rules might seem strict, but I think that's what makes the hostel so clean , quiet, and relaxed. I really enjoyed my stay.

I stayed two nights in this hostel before and after the loop. I could store my luggage there and Binh gave us a lot of information for the loop (he made a map). The hostel itself was well located, very clean, the beds were comfy and had curtains. I can highly recommend to stay here!

Really nice stuff, central location, the toilets and showers are separate. They provide you with a map for the Thakek loop on Google maps with the route and recommended spots.

What a superb spot. Haha, we went back 3 times in the month. I've never seen a 5-star hotel as clean as this. Unbelievable! Super friendly and helpful; with the Thakhek loop, mountain climbing, organising a tuk tuk when we were stuck. You guys are magic. All the very best success to you, you deserve it!

Amazing place to stay the night before starting the loop. The owner is super helpful and provides all the information you need for the loop. Very clean and quiet hostel — we had a great night’s sleep before starting our trip. They also let you store your big bag while you’re on the loop and helped us book our onward tickets to Pakse. Would definitely recommend.

“Best hostel you can get”

I had a wonderful stay at Naga Hostel in Thakhek. The hostel has two dorm rooms with around 10–12 beds each, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable with excellent privacy thanks to the well-designed curtains and layout. The owner is extremely friendly and genuinely cares about his guests. He pays attention to who he hosts, creating a safe and respectful atmosphere. He also gives great advice for the Thakhek Loop and provides free map material for your entire stay, with the most important sights and the best guesthouses along the route clearly marked. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean — they are basically cleaned after every use, which is something you rarely find in hostels. Naga Hostel is a calm, peaceful place, and it’s clearly not a party hostel. Quiet hours start at 11 PM, and you need to be back before then, which helps keep the environment safe and quiet. All in all, it’s a clean, safe, and very well-run hostel. A fantastic choice if you’re staying in Thakhek. Thanks for the great stay!

I've now stayed at this hostel twice, and both experiences were fantastic! The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The accommodation is excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. ​For added convenience, the owners actively assist with bus ticket organization, ensuring travel planning is effortless. Highly recommended for a comfortable and friendly stay, as it's consistently excellent!

Lovely place, owners are always ready to give you advices and not only for the bike loop. Very clean hostel and bathrooms, also comfortable bed :) There is also space to work both inside and outside, I will come back!
