June 2025 - For an apartment to use for a night close to the airport is perfect. It was 36* outside so even though it was going to be a 20min walk, it was too hot and the road is not userfriendly for luggage - take an Uber (20/40 euros) or taxi (20 euros) Bus is 20 euros too. There was someone to greet us on arrival. Facilities were great. Kitchen is stocked with pantry, cutlery, pots and mugs. Tea/coffee and kettle supplied. Fridge is stocked with water and other small fruit/fizzy drinks. No milk. Rooms were spacious but no door on one of them. Bathroom was clean, modern and water pressure was great. Beds were very comfortable. Local bakery and restaurants 1-2mins walk away. Aircon worked well but a little noisy - earbuds required if you are a light sleeper. Wifi worked well. Owner was kind to booked a taxi for us to get to the airport and communicated well via whatsapp. Cash is required for city tax. Apartment is on the first floor, no lift.

Roberto met us at the property with the keys and gave us lots of useful information on the local transport options. The apartment is situated close to Venice airport and an easy bus ride into Venice. There are a couple of restaurants and a bakery within walking distance and the apartment was stocked with basics. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and we had a great 3 night stay there.

Big house, close to the airport (20 minutes walking) and 30 minutes by bus from Venice city center. The neighborhood is very calm and safe.

Roberto was an excellent host. He allowed us to arrive a little early as we had already checked out of our previous hotel. He booked a cab for us for the early morning when we needed to leave for the airport. The cab came right on time and got us to the airport in minutes. Although some reviews said it was an easy walk, it would have been a bit too taxing a walk in the dark along busy streets. Robert left cold drinks for us in the fridge and some cookies. There were a few restaurants in the neighborhood, and we had a delicious dinner.

“Perfect for being near the airport”

Roberto was such a great host. He helped us solve some problems we had with what to do with our suitcase when we started our cycle ride from Munich to Venice. We were able to courier it to his parents’ house and he collected it for us when it arrived and delivered it to his apartment. Thank you so much Roberto. His apartment was perfect for us as it was only 15 minutes walk to the airport which was very handy when we had a 6am flight and 3 bicycles (which we pushed to the airport on airport trolleys). The apartment was spotlessly clean and had a garden which was very handy for storing our bikes and packing them up ready to fly out. We also liked the natural light in the apartment and the balcony.

Our family stayed one night before having a flight to Basel and we all loved it! Designwise, I think it was highly enjoyable, "cinematic", experience from the appartemnt's balance between decay elements and modernity. Also Robi is a very nice host and the location is pretty convenient for visits to Venice.
