“Outstanding host, spacious and comfortable house, and beautiful views.”

We had a wonderful stay. The host is extremely warm and caring and always responds immediately. The house is spacious and spotless, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate kitchen, and a comfortable living room, beautifully complemented by artwork on the walls. The highlight is the large terrace with breathtaking ocean views, offering magnificent sunrises (photo attached). The gas grill on the terrace is great for cooking, and the kitchen and house are fully equipped with everything you could need and more, including a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toasters, microwave, kettle, and stove. Fast internet throughout. A car is necessary, but the location is very quiet and excellent - only 15-20 minutes from the airport, about 25 minutes to Las Palmas, 35-40 minutes to the beaches in the south of the island, and around 50 minutes to the mountains (Pico de las Nieves). Highly recommended.

The balcony is massive and really does have spectacular views. The balcony had the sun all morning, and when it moved over the property the private garden at the back provided a beautifully secluded place to sunbathe. There was nothing I could think of that would have improved the property as Pedro and Mariola really have thought of everything! Everything was spotlessly clean including everything in the kitchen cupboards, which isn’t always the case in some properties. I found the bed to be as comfortable as my own bed at home! There were some provisions in the kitchen for our arrival including, very thoughtfully, gluten free products as I had mentioned I can’t eat gluten. We had excellent communication with Pedro leading up to the stay and he provided many helpful links for information about places to stay in Gran Canaria. He even found out the bus timetables for us as we hadn’t hired a car. Many thanks to Pedro’s sister for meeting us when we arrived as our hosts were on holiday for the start of our week. Many thanks also to Pedro and Mariola for providing such a beautiful place for us to stay. Extra special thanks to Pedro for getting up early and taking us to the airport through rush hour traffic! I would totally recommend a holiday at Pedro’s house with fantastic views, and take Pedro’s advice about hiring a car to make the most of the stay here even though we enjoyed our adventures on the bus.

Pedro is the best! You will get a spotless clean and well equipped apartment that feels like a second home from home :) The "fantastic view" is real! We can't recommend it enough. If you get the chance to book this place you should not hesitate to do so :)

The house is beautiful, comfortable, convenient. Perfectly located for us: far from touristic areas, midway between the sunny arid south and the temperate green north. But the best deal was the host. Pedro, an avid traveller like us, confessed to wanting to treat us as guests. Just like he likes to be treated himself when travelling. He is in this business for no other reason: to compensate the usual awkwardness of travel, and let us enjoy his Gran Canaria for all it has to offer. And enjoy it, we did!
