Our host Baba Zora, very nice person and our friend ! She always met us with a smile, working to maintain the garden clean and nice. And we have made more friends, the little cats coming to us every day for food (sometimes I had for them fresh fish caught in the Danube) and cuddling. I hope we all meet again in good health, when the weather is fine !

We booked at 8pm and the owner still managed to accommodate us the same day. Very friendly guy who will try to fulfill any wishes. Place is clean and good value for money.

The stay at Zeka Tekija Accommodation was excellent, we met a welcoming hostess, who helped us with the accommodation, always asked us what we wanted, if we were feeling well, and in the end we also bought sweets made by her. The accommodation was beyond expectations, for a house that looks old-style in the pictures. It is renovated, kept very clean, and its appearance is in accordance with the architectural style of the area, all the houses look the same. This is an advantage, as it calms the eyes. The town of Tekija is the only one in the area that has a bigger beach, it is clean and there is no noise in any part of the village. There is a restaurant in the town, called Joca Restaurant, where the food is very good. Throughout Serbia, you can communicate with the locals in English, and Romanian is also spoken near the border. The location of the villa is on the third floor, far from the main street where cars circulate, all the time being quiet. The villa has a terrace from which you can admire the Danube area. The locals are very quiet and kind to foreigners. In the villa I had all the necessary comfort, equipped kitchen, refrigerator, clean bathroom, clean bedding, everything very well taken care of. It is 9 kilometers from Tekija to the border of the Iron Gates, it is best to do all the Cazanele Danube routes. The stay was a pleasure that we hope to repeat.

Great location, beautiful view from terrace. Clean and cosy rooms. Djerdap hiking trails are near as well.

A lovely little house that really felt like home. We are bikepackers and the host allowed us to keep our bicycles safely secure on the balcony. The balcony was a beautiful place to sit and watch the riverboats and sunset. The grocery store was only a short walk away.
