This property is truely amazing, all about the view, along with the host Prosper and his lovely assistant. From the moment I arrived it was warm and welcoming, the connection was immediate non stop sharing conversations, joining him for a light meal and more tea. Spacious room with white sheets and fluffy white towel with ensuite. Small fan and big window allowing light. Use of the washing machine was a bonus hung out and dry by morning. Breakfast was a treat having eggs on toast and several coffees. Prosper organised tuk tuk and came with me to the atm and waited while I caught a bus, delightful gentleman who has many stories and words of wisdom.

The real Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time with Prosper and Suba, talking about life and playing piano and singing. The accommodation is very nice and has got amazing sunset views. Glenloch Tea Factory is walking distance in case you want to visit. And Ramboda falls are also very close ( stop in Hela Bodjun food court on the way). Ask Prosper to give Kumar a ring if you need any ride on the most fancy Tuktuk in Sri Lanka.

A beautiful home in a perfect location for trekking the Pekoe trail. The property overlooks the Glen Loch tea planation and you can take a tour there. The host, Prosper is a gentleman. We had lots of interest ing convesations over a lovely lunch and a good breakfast Top marks to Prosper who made my stay feel like a home from home.

This accomodation is right on the Pekoe Trail. Prosper is a lovely host. The accommodation has amazing views of the valley and mountains and it's very clean. It's a walk to get dinner or Prosper can arrange for delivery.

The property is beautifully located on a hillside overlooking a lake. The house is very modern and comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet. The owner, mr Prosper is the kindest person you can wish for. He treated my partner’s leech bites and looked so well after us.

The homeowner was very kind, hospitable, and helpful. First, he helped me find the place, which was quite a challenge. Then he assisted me in getting rid of a leech and treated the bite wound. The morning view from the window is the best you can imagine —it sets a positive tone for the rest of the day. The homeowner made delicious coffee and tea. If you're looking for a place not only to stay comfortably but also to experience some local culture and customs, and have conversations with the residents, this is the perfect opportunity.

right on the pekoetrail for an easy start in the morning. Prosper the owner is a fellow trecker/fan of nepal so we spent the majority of the evening talking about trecking and other things. felt like I was couchsurfing even though it's on booking.

When hiking the Pekoe Trail we stayed here for a night, and what a nice house in a beautiful spot it is! Perfectly located on the trail, high up to catch the views, and a little distance away from town which is no issue at all, as a short tuktuk ride will get you to dinner quick. Host Prosper is intelligent and fun, we loved his company, and he knows to give you space and privacy too. If you like he can whip up some breakfast for a small fee too. A bright and cheerful homestay, I reckon all fellow Pekoe walkers should stop by here for a memorable stay. We more then enjoyed it

Fantastic experience staying with Prosper for a night. He went above and beyond as a host - cooked me an early breakfast, arranged for dinner to be delivered, and even spent time cleaning and dressing my leech bites! Highly recommend for anybody planning on stopping during the Pekoe trail.

The apartment was architecturally impressive and the view was fantastic. The lawn was special and was a great place to walk and chat.

Absolutely incredible stay! If you’re staying in the area this place is a must! On arrival I had tea and biscuits, then they were keen to wash my clothes for me (free of charge!) Mr Prosper the host is an amazing gentleman. We sat and chatted for hours , whilst looking out at the incredible view from his home. If you want to feel really welcome and cared for, this is the place to stay for few dayes! 😍 Such a beautifull spot in the middle of the mountains right on Pekoe trail, the house is nicely designed full of light and the view is truly remarcable. Just having tea in the morning and see the fog sitting on the hills is experience by itself. The owner and the lady who works here are super ephatic and good hearted, genuinely interested about your needs. They made me feel like visiting family in here. The owner also speaks very good english and he is super intelignet, I loved the conversationes with him. The best place I have been to in Sri Lanka mountains so far. ❤️

Mr Bemunuge is the sweetest! This felt very much like a home stay, we enjoyed his and Subha's company. They were so warm and hospitable; it felt like we were staying with relatives! The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. It has just enough amenities needed - not too cluttered. We didn't have our meals there as we were always on the road, but we had the best sleep! We will definitely be back.

The owner, Prosper, is such a kind and gentle soul who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even helped us arrange a takeaway lunch at a nearby restaurant for the next day’s hike, which was such a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, the views are great. There’s a terrace at the top where you can see the reservoir below—absolutely stunning! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hot water was such a blessing after a long day hiking the Pekoe Trail. We spent the evening chatting, sharing stories, and bonding like family. We came as strangers and left feeling like we had a new brother in Prosper. Don’t miss out on this gem of a place. We will definitely be back!
