Overview
Klostergården lies in the middle of Trondheimsfjord on the island of Tautra, famous for its historic monastery and many bird watching opportunities. The former farm also has an on-site restaurant, café and small brewery. The individually designed bedrooms at Klostergården have views over the gardens and the restaurant’s courtyard terrace. Wi-Fi access is free and rooms are spread throughout the farm’s buildings with shared bathroom facilities. A home-made breakfast is served each morning, and the property has its own farm shop where regional produce can be purchased as well as Klostergården’s own beers. There is also a lounge room with a TV for relaxation. The island is connected to the mainland by a causeway, and the city of Trondheim is 80 km away.

“One of the most unique property we have stayed in.”
The property has an unbelievable beautiful garden and has private access to the fjord. They have. A sauna and you can spend some good time at the garden and also get into the fjord.

“Nice location off the beaten track.”
The location is interesting near an old abbey. Lots of bird life on the island. Locally produced products used in the restaurant.

super welcoming hosts, they even proposed to prepare our breakfast before we left for our plane at 6am, thanks so much ! food was tasty and at a very reasonable price. local beer was very nice too !
