“Sad”

Location was not good. A very run down town. Everything was closed and shuttered. Despite claiming excellent wifi, it was pretty-well useless. They did offer to move the router but by then we had decided that there really was no match with the on line description. The room was pretty ordinary and the small balcony welcomed us with a tin full of old cigarette butts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt very welcomed by Maria who spoke both Italian and English. The room was comfortable and had everything we required. Parking was provided in the property too. The location was handy being in the historical centre. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again if we returned.

The most beautiful B&B in such a great location. Great character, very clean, and extremely welcoming. Maria was so genuinely lovely and helpful, such a superstar. The breakfast was unreal and served in the most gorgeous setting.

The owner accommodated our dietary needs for breakfast, and the spread was amazing, with eggs, cheese and salad, gluten free breads and pastries, juices, yogurt and coffee. They also helped with dinner reservations, along with a discounted bottle of local wine.

The welcome, the host Antonio, his personal touch, guide in his cantina, he met us for a walk in the old part of the city, and arranged a wine and food tasting for us 👍 the room is all you need with nice antiquities, the Village of Taurasi and location is absolute top, parking in front of the house. A stay we will remember even if we only stayed for one night.

We had a wonderful stay at Antiche Dimore. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served every morning, with fresh fruit, pastries, and local specialties. The location was perfect for visiting wineries in the area.

Antonio the owner went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable . he was so kind , helpful & offered to arrange anything & even made sure we had everything we preffered for breakfast . he made us feel like family & Assunta the house keeper also did today she was so sweet warm & caring & looked after us .. such a lovely little magical village (is my mothers birthplace) … would reccomend highly to stay .. felt like a home

Perfect location. Beautiful breakfast room.

This is probably one of the warmest welcomes and stays we have had during our trips to Italy. The host Antonio was really kind and helpful every step of the way. You can really sense that he really cares about his guests and wants them to feel special. He helped us with local restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table at a pizzeria nearby. Not to mention the fact that he knows a lot about local wine production and wineries, which is what Taurasi is famous for. Place itself is located in the very center of Taurasi, in the old town's square. There is free parking right in front of the building so it is very convinient if you have more luggare or you are travelling with small children. And of course the breakfast in the wine cellar was one of the highlights - it is just spectacular.

“Our time in Taurasi”

The Antiche Dimore has been completely renovated. It's been done to a high standard and in keeping with the surrounding area. The bedroom and shower room are spacious and clean. There is a choice of croissants and other delicacies including fruit for breakfast and a choice of hot drinks. The owner is there in the mornings and on the other end of a phone at other times. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are one or two members of staff to help out we only met one and she was very friendly and her English is impeccable.

it’s extremely central, host was very kind

Lovely room with balcony, view from it below, liked having a fridge in room and appreciated the extra early breakfast served in the charming cellar before we had to leave for the airport. We were able to park right outside and the B&B is situated very conveniently in the central area of the town.
