“Best place to stay in Nová Scotia... ever!”

The eco farm is in the woods, a bit off the main road. It is quiet, peaceful and really close to nature in all aspects. The owners are artists of German origin, very caring and truly devoted to biological farming and living. Even breakfast was prepared from local produce only, tomatoes and fresh eggs directly from the farm with homemade bread and jelly, milk and butter from a near by cattle farm. Simple but extremly tasty and wholesome. The animals run freely, no cages or fences. Even teas offered in our room with the tea kotle were solely biological as well as biological toiletteries in the bathroom. The room and batroom very impecably clean with tasteful rustic decorations. We enjoyed sitting on the patro and watching the goats play. We were truly sorry we had to leave after only to nights. We loved this farm.

“Great place”

Everything. Very relaxing and calming room. Clean, comfy, cosy. Bathroom design is beautiful. Stephan was very welcoming and the breakfast was perfect. We loved our stay. There are two goats and a super friendly cat named Tintin.

We wanted to have an accommodation out in the woods, or on a farm, and we found both at the Green Dragon. Surrounded by the wilderness of Nova Scotia., greeted by two irresistible goats, a superb affectionate cat and a host with a sunny smile, we felt welcome. We Loved the comfortable and well appointed suite, the cosy breakfasts, the chats and the rich heritage of Tatamagouche Thank you Stephan for sharing your land with us

The property itself is a small organic farm and is set in an extremely relaxing environment with farm animals and nature. The host Stephan was extremely friendly and hospitable. Serving the breakfast at the dining table in their home was a very nice touch!

Very quiet location in a clearing away from the road. Lovely to see goats, ducks with ducklings, a rooster and some geese as well as the cat. Very comfortable bed. Home made bread a bonus at breakfast time Very helpful and friendly hosts

I loved the decor and how amazing the shower was! It was quiet and out of the way ...beautiful farm yard! The host was so amazing helpful in every way and breakfast was delicous and very filling!! Using fresh farm ingredients :)

Stephan was very accommodating, a lovely, friendly host. Breakfast was just what we needed, perfect for us that day, quiet location, we slept great (first time in a few days) location very interesting, Basic accommodations, rustic, (loved the wood breakfast table) but had everything you needed. We would return if we were out this way again. Thanks for everything Stephan.!

“A quiet, affordable retreat close to town”

It's a very nice, peaveful location away from town but close enough for it to not feel like a chore. Stephan's decorative style is very unique, and refreshing. The mattress and sheets are extremely comfortable! I personally enjoyed that there was no TV in the room so it forced us to read, talk and rest. Tintin is a very friendly cat, so we enjoyed spending some time with him on the porch. The goats were very pleasant too. Stephan was enjoyable to chat with, and we had a lot in common. We appreciated learning about the history of the area, his home, and his hike and dinner recommendations were also appreciated.
