The view is absolutely splendid. It's also a very safe environment for women travelling. Staff is helpful and @ the same time one can enjoy privacy.

“Charming and very local S. Nicolau experience”
Not only the location right on the waterfront is excellent, local life is happening right around you. People gather at different times of the day to catch fish, clean it, prepare tools, meet to chat or simply sit quietly (without smart-phones, nice). The peace all around is a blessing. There's an improvised miniature chicken farm right around the corner (five roosters make themselves heard :) Two little shops 5 minutes away provide the basics and sometimes even fresh veggies. For 'night-life' there is a funky bar nearby with music, where you can sit outside and sample various home made drinks and temperaments. The kitchen is well equipped and I found rice, sugar etc. at my disposal. On festive days, Regina opens her little food stall in front of the house and neighbors come together. Regina is an energetic, cool and thoroughly helpful landlady.

“Great views to the sea”
The views are great, in front of the sea so you sleep with the waves in the background Very spacious with a big living room. Also comes with kitchen with the basics for a quick meal and the fridge works well. Breakfast is good with a nice variety of things. Even though it is a 10 mins walk to the center, this is preferred because the town can be noisy, both in the morning and at night.

This place is fantastic. It is located in front of the ocean so that you have ocean in your room all the time! You can stare all the day through the balcony. It is located not directly in the centre but it is 10 minutes walk from the exact centre of Tarrafal, and Tarrafal is a tiny city as well.
